Impact Support Club House

Would anybody who follows NFL explain to me the shitty reaction the Dallas Cowboys got?

It's simple. Jerry Jones refuses to fire Jason Garrett as head coach. Plus they play in the same division as the Giants and Redskins (RG3). As garbage as they've been over the years they still grab ratings.

Thanks. Now it makes a little more sense. Other than that, the Dallas crowd was amazing.

Pfft. Honestly? I didn't even watch it. The reaction by most seems positive so I may watch it when I can. I haven't watches much of the show in ages as it's boring me. I'm following the results on KB's site and read that Lashley is the new Champ.

Why couldn't they have done that on Sunday?

Boring was probably the wrong word. Frustrated really. I mean I've been watching it for years and I'm tired of them putting on the same thing. This ends at BFG, change is promised and then another war begins.

I'll be sure to checkout Slammiversary though.

Bully Ray making his rounds on the podcasts/radio stations. Such an awesome interview. You can see why this guy has clout in the company right now.

Yeah I can't remember who it was saying that Angle, Joe and also Bully are like the roster heads.

He's improved so much since he broke away from Devon and I wouldn't mind seeing him as champion again. Even though a lot of people were frustrated with the Aces and Eights, I think it was because of Bully himself people were still watching.

How high do you think his influence is on decision making anyway?

So far TNA have announced Homicide Low Ki and Brian Cage for Destination X

Rumors have said Low Ki is close to or already signed a contract but I would really love to see Brian Cage get signed he'd be great for the X-Division with the potential of moving up the card.

Hopefully they announce some more names for Destination X in the next couple days

He answered it directly in the interview. Said he's an agent as well in TNA, but that he has absolutely no influence on creative. He is there to help whoever asks for his help — like guys who come to him asking his advice on a match or a finish or a character tweak, etc.

That's going to be interesting. I don't think most of the wrestlers will be too happy about it. I get that it makes them look different but they can represent alternatives in their product. So in their matches, PPV's, other ways of presentation and in storylines. The older ring did make them a stand-out but you have to consider the safety of the performers.

All they have to do is throw on a good show without relying on two extra sides of a ring. Take a look at the 2011 ratings. They were really good for the company and the ring was 4 sided. The product can still be enjoyable with 6 or 4 sides. The number of sides the ring has is not what makes the show more enjoyable, but the stories and the matches.

I'm quite pissed off at TNA right now.

I was quite ready to shit on this whole twitter war Dixie had Tommy Dreamer and how hardcore wrestling is bad. Then he actually appeared! After that great, impassioned and rousing speech he gave, I thought "Finally, a way out of having two fighting authority heels! Please don't balls this up by having Spud jump him..."

But no, that's not the way TNA does things.

I don't like Dixie as a heel, not because I personally think she sucks, but because those in attendance truly hate her. She never gets a chance to speak anymore, because of the jeers.

To me Dixie looks like a sweet and harmless old lady*. She's not in charge of a corporate giant (like Vince McMahon), but instead of an underdog fed, not even close to competing with the 'E. Why then, is this power-player character pushed so unwaveringly? And why the fuck is her current character still around at the same time as MVP's? I know Teddy just got fired, but that doesn't mean that face authority characters can't exist.

Not that I didn't enjoy the last Impact... Kurt being back is great, Kenny King is finally getting some shine, the first tag-match was good, MagBram seems to be going APA, EC3 and Spud were great as always, the Knockouts were looking stunning, the character development of even the Hebners was good, MVP clearing out JB and the cameraman was quite funny and EY's fun reign got a decent send-off (albeit at the wrong time).

*I know this is naïve of me and that everybody in the pro wrestling business is an asshole cut-throat fame-hog, but she damn sure doesn't LOOK the part.
