I'm no knowledge buff on how wrestling works on the insides. I'm no buff at knowing how to run a business of this magnitude. I can only theorize. Which is why this is in a spam friendly section. This is a what if.
If Vince got real stiff competition beating or meeting his rating weekly. A powerhouse ready to run over him again. Would he
a.) Fire or light a flame under creative? (Hold them accountable and critique their work to the last sentence.)
b.) Fire or repackage like crazy superstars that "are not working"? (Like crazy meaning, shit no one reacted to this. We need to remake him next week. Instead of Jersey Shore he'll be Armani Suit Guy who wrestles in style! Hell if that don't work we'll make him an Italian gangster. Wouldn't even need to change his wrestling gear!)
c.) Would he lose stock do you think? Would he lose his seat as Chairman?
(I say lose because I don't see a guy like him stepping down so to speak)***This is a wildcard question because I know someone Might bring it up.
d.) Would he invest more into the people hes developing in training? (i.e. give them more time to build, give them more of a chance.)
e.) All the above?
You can add what you want. I just don't know what would happen. I would like to see some classic stuff brought back. Not just use of the tag ropes or blood used sparingly. I'd like creative's silliness with people like Hornswoggle and Vickie Geurerro to end. She gets amazing heat but does it work in the end fully? For some yes. Not for all in my opinion.
I think Vince's packaging of superstars right now is good. A lot of people can argue against that but it's kept him of ahead of the competition he has now.
This is where I get fuzzy. Not knowing how that all works. Just that Vince answers to major stockholders and such. I would think he'd be fine in his spot unless it got real bad. From what I understand and it may be wrong if he was sinking bad in ratings I'm sure he'd lose a lot of stock.
Like I said I think his dev of people right now is good. Not perfect. None of em are. But I think some would benefit from a slower build than others.
