If there is no Unification match at WM27, who's at the top of the card?

Now we all know in WWE, plans change constantly, and as of right now there are plans to unify all titles. I personally do not think they'll go through with it, but if they do I'll be very interested as in how it all goes down. Anyways, if WWE decides not to go through with it, who are in the top 3 matches on the card? (WWE Title, World Title, The Streak) And also who gets the top grudge match doing into WM, there is always a grudge match that is built pretty highly too.

WWE Championship
John Cena(c) vs. Randy Orton (RR Winner)
I know, this match has been done to death, but this match has never been done in a face vs. face match. This feud is kind of like the Stone Cold/Rock feud (I'm not saying it's on the same level because it's not close, but it's the top 2 stars of this generation like at WM17 and WM 15). Have Orton win the RR for a 2nd time, and go after Cena, claiming he wants to prove he is the best in the WWE and he has to beat Cena fair and square to prove it.

The 18-0 Streak on the Line
The Undertaker vs. Wade Barrett/Sheamus
The Undertaker is at 18-0 as everybody knows, and it's going to be hard to follow up WM25 and WM26 against HBK, but the show must go on and I think he needs to face somebody who is new(ish) to the WWE. Sheamus has only been around for around a year-year and half, and Wade Barrett only a few months. Both are on the rise as heels with Sheamus being the current champion, and Barrett being the leader of Nexus. Have one of these men attack Taker claiming they are the best and can do something nobody has done and it is to beat the Undertaker to prove they are the future of the WWE.

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge(c) vs. Christian
It was rumored a couple weeks ago that Smackdown is going to get a little roster boost, and then they also showed Edge's name a couple days later as a possible candidate. Have Edge show up on Smackdown and beat whoever the Champion is close to WM. Now onto Christian, everybody knows he is a mid-carder who isn't really doing anything other than wrestling McIntyre and Rhodes. I think this is the WWE biding they're time until Christian has a chance to face somebody at the top. Everybody is currently busy on SD so he doesn't really have anywhere to go right now. I also think the little Edge-Christian mini-feud after the Draft was a possible test to see how these two could do in this day of age in a match. This feud can be self explanitory, its E&C.

Top Grudge Match
Triple H vs. The Miz
HHH is going to return soonish (the next couple of months, possibly RR) and he is going to need somewhere to go after Sheamus. I think it's safe to assume these 2 won't be going at it again at WM27, so lets go ahead and rule out a RR win for The Game. The Miz however is on the rise fast, being MITB right now, and he will need a big match at WM. I think this is where HHH comes into the picture, have HHH eliminate Miz in the RR or vice versa. That automatically could set up a great feud. Except have The Miz actually win at WM instead of HHH winning, possibly forshadowing a MITB cash-in at WM27.

That is the card that I could see possibly happening at WM if there is no unification, what do ya'll think? I don't want any responses with a unification match headlining since this is about if there is no unification

I like your ideas, here are my thoughts about your card:

WWE Championship, Randy Orton vs John Cena: I think this is eventually going to happen anyway, sooner or later. Anyway, Orton winning for a second time the RR? Why not? But why not have him win the #1 contendership at the Elimination Chamber, this way making his first win in that kind of match.

The streak 18-0 on the line, The Undertaker vs Sheamus/Wade Barrett: I see where are you going with this. It's really obvious that Taker doesn't have many people to fight for. There are FEW options, Jericho, Cena and all the newbies (Barret, Sheamus, Miz, Daniel Bryan etc...). But you need to take attention to the fact that there is a huge, HUGE weight under that wing. After Mania 25 and 26, who could fill that spot to keep us at the edge of our seats?I'm not quiet sure who coul do it. From that point of view, I would not expect a great match/storyline with newbies...

World heavyweight championship, Edge vs Christian: Dream match? Definitely! can you imagine the promos? However, unfortunately, I just can't see Christian main eventing a Wrestlemania even if I want to.... My pick would be CM Punk, but a heel vs heel main eventing Mania? I doub it alot!

Top Grudge match: Triple H vs The Miz: I never thought about this possiblity, but gosh I love it! I think it could be great and by the was you say it should be booked, I think it's perfect!

The Bottom Line, HHH does not deserve to beat Taker. No one does. With how over Taker is no one will ever break the streak. I like everyone else's ideas but no. Taker losing at Mania is just stupid. *cough sorry I know I took this kinda up the butt but I'm a huge Taker mark (like you haven't heard that before) cough*

It's hard to actually pick matches for Wrestlemania because you never know what could happen between now and then. Some guys might have turned either Heel or Face by then. But whatever, here are some matches I would like to see.

These matches are assuming that the WWE does NOT have any title unification matches.

I do like Cena Vs. Orton. AND the OP reason behind it!

Goldberg might have one final match and I see it happening when he gets inducted into the HOF. So if he gets inducted this year, he would need to face someone. I think a lot of talk had gone on about Jericho facing him at WM. But if rumors that have been circulating are true, he might be reverting back to Y2J. So Jericho as a Face against Goldberg probably wouldn't happen.

It also depends what kind of match they want Goldberg to have. Do they want him to actually have a GOOD match? Or do they want him to just squash someone? I say if they want him to have a decently long match and actually work, and look good in his final match... They let CM Punk do it. I don't wanna see Punk lose at WM, BUT he would do a great job of making Goldberg look really good in the match and sell it well! So let Goldberg go over Punk.

So if Jericho does turn Face. I think a great feud for him would be with The Miz. I think that would be AWESOME. Have them feud somewhere along the lines of early in the year, and then they have a match at WM.

I think a match at Wrestlemania between Sheamus and Triple H works for me. If Trips returns at Royal Rumble, I think he and Sheamus should go for another couple months. Probably in some sort of Gimmick Match. Since there might not be a MITB match, a nice edition to the show could be a Cage Match or something like that for these 2.

I think Barrett and Undertaker could be a great match. IMO Taker should definitely win and continue the streak. That way, when and IF Barrett becomes a star, he is another BIG name added to Taker's list.

The World Heavyweight Championship picture could really go any way. Maybe a match involving 3 or more guys from SD could work. I do really like Edge Vs. Christian for the WHC. I am not sure if it would happen at WM for The WHC. But, I wouldn't mind it at all, and I think it should be a TLC Match.

That for me would be some of the main matches for WM.

*If by chance WWE decides to unify The Championships at WM. I would like to see John Cena Vs. The Undertaker to unify them. With Taker getting the win.

*The other matches stay the same, but an angle is created with Orton/Barrett and they have their match against each other at WM.

Not only would those matches be refreshing but it would be a pretty strong card.

It's hard to say this far out but I think the card should look like this.

Cena vs Taker: Streak vs Soul No titles on the line as like HBK/Taker this match dosent need them, these are the two biggest stars in the company and they have never faced off on PPV, ok so they did in 04 but Cena wasn't a star yet so that dosent count.

Edge vs Christian TLC for the WHC: Have Edge come over to SD when they move to SyFy and have him in the ME picture while Christian is in the mid card but for a while have them drop hints at this fued (like they did earlier in the year with the promo on SD and the match on Raw) like running into eachother backstage and facing off in tag matches, them have Edge win the championship and Christian the RR and let the fued go from there.

WWE Title Orton vs Jericho: This is a fued that has never happened before to my knowledge and WM would be the perfect place for it to happen, have Jericho walk in as chame and Orton win and have his big WM moment.

Grudge Match: DBD vs Punk: I dont really have a reason for this match but do I need one, these two are both amazing in the ring just send them out there and let them go for 20 or so mins and steal the show. Maybe if the WWE are willing to acknowledge it their ROH past's could be brought up to start the fued off.

This is seriously never going to happen. Goldberg how, where is the logic, sorry for being an ass but come on dude have some logic in your posts they wouldnt put their top star against Goldberg a person who left them after a year of being in the company. Goldberg will just be apart of maybe the hall of fame, and that is just wishful thinking at best.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Kane (c) Vs Edge
I don't think I've seen a heel vs heel match for the World Title at WM before so it would be uniqe or you could have Edge as the face. I can see Kane holding onto the World Title for a pretty long time and I'm guessing Edge will be moving to Smackdown soon. I think it would be a pretty good match and the promos would be good going into the match.

WWE Championship Match: Chris Jericho (c) Vs Randy Orton
These are two of the best wrestlers in the company and they are two of my favourite wrestlers so I would love to see them go at it. I don't believe they've feuded with eachother before, but I'm sure it would be a great feud. The promos would be great and the match itself would be pretty good.

Undertaker Vs John Cena
I would love to see Cena try to end the streak, it would be awesome. The match itself wouldn't be the best match out of the three headline matches because Taker can't really go for it anymore but it still wouldn't be bad. The promos would be amazing and nobody would have to switch brands because they did Taker Vs HBK with them being on different brands. I think the best thing would be for Cena to win the RR match and instead of going for a title he tries to end the streak.

Chris Jericho vs Goldberg - If Chris Jericho does not leave the WWE (which I honestly think he will in the end) Goldberg has said he wanted one more match to be able to wrestle for his son who have never seen him do it. Both of them were in WCW and from my knowledge these two have some sort of history together (read in a thread I actually posted) so I think this would be the perfect match. Jericho can do the story telling and could put on a great match for Goldberg at WrestleMania. I personally would love to see this match.

Undertaker vs John Cena - Everybody has been waiting for this match and it will no doubt steal the show! The last time these two faced off was on an edition of RAW in 2006 (looked it up on Youtube honestly check it out! It isn't long, but definitely worth a watch! Really good match) I believe, but since then these two have not crossed paths. It wasn't a long match, but from my memory it was REALLY good like as was there Match at Vengeance 2003. You can only imagine what these two would bring at the Grandest Stage of them ALL WrestleMania! And with the rumors of a possible Unification Match this might be the match. If Goldberg does not return just add Chris Jericho into this match (who I think will be the Royal Rumble Winner this year if he stays)

Edge vs Christian - I believe Edge will go back to SmacKDown and he will have a small tag team title run with Christian reuniting E&C. Afterwards I believe that Edge and Christian will break up close to WrestleMania because of Jealousy and then it will lead to a match at WrestleMania in which these guys as well have had a great match on RAW not to long ago. This match could potentially steal the show if they give these two some time.

Wade Barrett vs Triple H - Like last year when Triple H faced Sheamus I believe the same will happen here as well with Triple H facing Wade Barrett. Wade Barrett will give Triple H an good match only for Triple H to go over. I believe that will be Triple H's job at WrestleMania for now on since Randy Orton vs John Cena, Randy Orton vs Triple H, and John Cena vs Triple H was done so many times. BUT I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Main Event though.

The Miz vs Randy Orton - Randy Orton has a bunch of future Main Events in WrestleMania. Last year he faced Legacy now this year he will face The Miz. Like Triple H almost, give him a good match just to put him over and then continue the feud after Mania. This could put The Miz on the map at a Main Eventer (if he isn't by WrestleMania time already)

WWE Championship - Title vs Career - Sheamus (c) vs HHH

There is a lot of speculation at the moment about HHH and how much gas is left in the tank. This would be the perfect way to send him off, if he is going to head to the boardroom rather than the ring.
Although I think Trips has another year or two in him, this would be the perfect way to send him off. Against a kid we know he likes and has put over before. A victory here would be the powder keg that would push Sheamus to the moon.

The Streak - Undertaker vs John Cena

This match has to be done at Wrestlemania. They have fought before, but not for a while. And Cena is the ONLY person that can make EVERYONE doubtful that the streak could survive, simply because he is SuperCena. Would the WWE seriously consider having Cena lose to Taker? None of us really know.

Main grudge match: Edge v Punk (Hair vs Hair match)

Punk's hair has finally grown back. After Edge's move to Smackdown, he instantly clashed with the SES and their views. The Rated R Superstar soon moved from tweener to face, as PG kiddies asked their dads what a "live sex celebration" was.
As it turns out, Edge still equals ratings, spearing Punk into the barbers chair, and scoring the pin.


World Heavyweight Championship - Orton (c) vs Jericho (Rumble winner) vs The Miz

The Miz was champion heading into Elimination Chamber, having cashed in the briefcase. Orton won the title at EC, and The Miz immediately revokes his match clause for Wrestlemania. Only problem is Jericho, back as the Lionheart after taking time off, won the Royal Rumble, and wants his title shot. Orton retains, while giving The Miz some serious main event time on the biggest stage of all.

Out of no where, Wade Barrett's music hits! Having just won Money in the Bank, Barrett walks up to an exhausted Orton, hits the Wasteland, and wins his first heavyweight championship.
