If People Are Bored...

Downward Spiral

I'm Not From Your Country
There's a quick and easy solution to that problem.

...

Wait for it...

...

Get off the fucking internet!!!!!!! No one wants to hear someone say 'sigh...I'm so bored, lol' on the internet! If you're bored, find a way to entertain yourself by getting off the computer, but don't make it your business to inform people of your mood.

If people didn't sit on forums saying how bored they were, there could be a slight chance that there would be a few more entertained people in this world. If you're bored, read a book to expand your mind, go outside, talk to someone in real life, play a game if you're a nerd...but don't stay on the internet telling people that 'I'm bored...'. Christ.

It's as if people were bound by chain to their computer and forced to sit there. You can do other things rather than sitting on the internet...but of course, some don't know that, and feel like it's useful to let others know that 'they're bored'. Well whoop-de-fucking-do...thanks for the information...go entertain yourself!

well if you are bored you can always post in the Wrestling sections. Try and get more discussion going in a lot of subjects.

Some people who post on here when they are bored are doing so from work, and I'm just taking a wild guess here but I assume that if bored at work it means they are all caught up on the shit they need to do, and now have nothing else to do until they either a.) get more work, or b.) are able to go home for the day

God dammit, you know what. You have a damned good point. So from now on, every time I get bored, I am going to log in, come to this thread and read it. Then I'm going to say "At least I'm not as bored as the person who took the time to write this," and go back to watching Western Himilayian Yak porn. They got a good one out now that guest stars Ron Jeremy. lol

That's a "Logical reason" to show why so many people want to share their boredom with everyone?

So people are getting paid to sit for several hours (because most people who are 'at work' seem to be on for an extensive amount of time) and do nothing, because their job simply has 'no work' for them? I'm sure that applies in a very small amount of cases.

Like you said, 'some' people might say they're bored while at work. Fair enough.

But 'some' people don't carry the majority. I created this thread because I read numerous times in one thread about how people were 'bored'. Teenagers mostly.

Find a feasible excuse for a teenager to log on and complain about how bored they are...Then we'll see how 'logical' it is.

As opposed to a teenager complaining about other teenagers complaining how they are bored;)

and it's an internet wrestling forum, when has logic ever been necessary?

Actually Mr Spawn, I was not bored when I wrote that. You see, that would be contradictory to what I've said. Unlike many others, I don't have the burden of being forced to sit at my computer forever and ever with simply no other vice to entertain me, but the internet. So unlike them, I don't have to let the world know of my mood. When I get bored, I leave the computer! It's just that simple! I just hope one day some people break their chains and see just how bright and entertaining it is outside!

That's MR. Spawn to yo.... oh fuck. You did call me Mr. Spawn. lol Well anyways, if you were not bored, you would have merely fought the temptation to write that and would have just left the computer. But your latent boredom, mixed with your frustration moved you to pen this. Sure there is saying that you were fed up and didn't want to see such anymore, but you could have very easily done what you suggest and gotten off of the computer. Admit it, you wrote it because you were bored and it gave you something to eliviate your boredom temporarily. I sure know that tis did wonders for mine. lol

Actually it was just frustration at people constantly complaining they were bored when they could easily just do something else (well, MOST people anyway) that made me write that. Not boredom.

I prefer to let my opinions be known. I do not care, however, for letting people know a certain mood I'm in. That may be demonstrated in my posts, but I don't make it my business to tell people that 'sigh...I'm so bored.'

'Latent'...I like that word. A wrongful use in this circumstance nonetheless though.

I am never bored when I'm on here. I usually leave and do something else when I begin getting bored. I won't admit otherwise, because that would be lying. I didn't feel any more or any less bored after writing that. That's the truth, whether you accept it or you don't.
