Idea for Xplosion

RVDisTNA

Occasional Pre-Show
Why doesn't TNA base the Xplosion program completely around their X Division talent? They already have Destination X. And Xplosion would be a perfect name for it.

One hour a week of guys like Amazing Red, Brian Kendrick, Generation Me, Homicide, etc.. And then Impact will be for the main storylines and bigger guys.

Anybody else think that would be a GREAT Idea?

I dont get to watch Xplosion on regular television but what i could see online it showcases a lot of the talent that isnt seen on Impact weekly. Though i might be wrong this would mean that it does focus on many of the wrestlers that are in the X Division.

But if they do bring the show to American television which i hear they are going to do I wouldn't mind seeing it be based around the X division. Though it might be a little gimmicky to have a whole show around high flying wrestling i feel it would work. If they were going to do this i would like to see them throw more knockout action on the show as well. Maybe actually bring the KO tag titles back to life and the time to actually put on a good quality knockout match.

I know the talent is there in both divisions but they are rarely given the proper time to show off there abilities. Another show to showcase the two divisions would hopefully revive them.

P.S.- I am in no way against KO or X division wrestling in Impact but i feel there abilities arent justified enough by the amount of time given on Impact alone.

Well, Luckly TNA isn't as big as the WWE, and needs a 2nd brand for it not to crumble.

I saw, make Xplosion the old SmackDown. Continue storylines, and throw some minor ones in there. Use that talent that they have.

It would be nice seeing something around the X-division, but it also could be the down fall of the company. Use the show to continue a couple major storylines, and then use the rest for the guys that aren't being used.

TNA has plenty of raw talent in the X Division that could be developed and utilized well on Xplosion. Guys like Amazing Red & Douglas Willaims are great performers and could lead the way giving the X division guys a lot more exposure. Moving the x division to Xpolsion would also alow TNA to utilize the bigger guys more on Impact. Use the Xplosion guys for pay per view Xdiv champion and tag champion matches and make that the only interaction with the Impact guys. I know 2 hours of wrestling a week isn't enough for me and I would love to have Xplosion come to the US. Captain Insaneo, I don't witness any lack of intrest in the Impact Zone when I am there for a live show or on TV. They put on a great show, especially Ultimate X matches. You aren't everyone.

I definitely think TNA needs a second show, however I would like them to spread all the talent out between the two.... I'm thinking maybe one week I see aj styles on both shows, maybe next week he's only on one of em. That would free up time for someone else to wrestle instead of him on one of the shows.... My point is that TNA has alot of great talent and they need more time to showcase it. Whatever they do though, they better not make two "brands" and only have certain talent on one show or the other. If they allow their wrestlers to go back and forth between different shows that would add to the suprise when you see a certain wrestler come out that nite

Why the X-division is not focused in Xplosion? ITz obvious..TNA is the idiot of the wrestling business and they have no clue what they are doing.. I give them another 5 more years..the MAX..Unless dixie wants to waste more money and keep throwin money at it. I think she cant pull the plug cuz now she is just wayy to deep in. U know why she is way too deep in? cuz she brought in people like HOgan and Eric. THey crashed and burned one wrestling company THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN. Seriously..HOgan's heel turn was the ONLY good idea Eric had. 1 good idea does not make someone a Wrestling GENIUS. Remember what happened when he tried again? the Finger point of Doom. CRASH AND BURN. i HATE eric and i HATE hogan for what they do to deserving young very talented wrestler who just loves the business because its their passion. Hogan and Eric just wana be the best and have a neverending grudge wit WWE and are sore losers. Roll over and die HOgan. I hope you are reading this and at the end of this sentence, you get a heart attack and shit yourself.

I can see where you thought of this idea. X-Division... Xplosion. It is undeniably subliminal.

Though like The Shockmaster already noted, a lot of X-Division guys do already get the time these days as it is used in like a WWE Superstars way of putting people on the show who may be left off Impact!

This week we saw Amazing Red and Suicide as a tag team along with Generation ME in a tag team match.

As for your idea, I don't see the point. Many people argue that the X-Divison doesn't have enough credibility these days. I respect the fact you'd rather see the X-Division on Xplosion rather than not at all... though having it showcased on a show that is openly the B-Show isn't the way to go about it. Sadly we just have to wait for it to be truly showcased on Impact more often by Hogan etc.

I think this argument will be redundant after HardCORE Justice as a lot of the reason for this is more time given to the ECW guys. We haven't seen Jay Lethal much the past few weeks, Hernandez, Samoa Joe... so many main stars even, for that reason. So I think the X-Division also isn't being showcased for that reason.

Give it a month and I will more than likely re-comment on this thread if things haven't changed.

Great idea however.

Haven't seen an episode of Xplosion other than the ones that were posted in the official thread for the show. Although the show has the potential to become a bigger part in TNA programming than it already is. Right now it's used to develop minor fueds such as Sarita/Taylor Wilde and give time to jobbers who wouldn't make it on iMPACT such as Superstars for the WWE. I think TNA should get Xplosion on a better network and show it on t.v. in the U.S. (I heard talks of them doing that) This way it allows them more time to develop fueds and showcase more talent than they already are. If promote right, I can see Xplosion as a show to look forward to as much as iMPACT.

Xplosion should be focused around all the talent not used on Impact. I don't think it should only be X division, but other talent. It shouldn't be a Superstars type of show though. It would be good to see matches with Generation Me, Amazing Red, Shark Boy and others. The knockouts could have a match on there instead of taking time away from Impact. Other wrestlers that should be on there instead of Impact every week could be: Orlando Jordan, Eric Young, Ink Inc., Brutus Magnus, and Rob Terry.

That could work actually, most of those guys that you mentioned dont usually get featured on Impact anyway so this would be a good way to get them TV time. The only problam is that you would still need to have you X Division Champ on TV and probably the Number one contender so when the PPV match happens people know what is going on. Other than that it is a great idea.

I'd rather just have it as a hour-shorter version of Smackdown!.
Just got finished looking on the TNA roster page, and they have a total of:
43 Wrestlers
9 Knockouts
13 Non-Wrestlers
4 That have already been released/are no longer with the company, but for some reason are still on the roster.

I digress.
They could easily split this up.
They could have the X-Division on one show, and the Knockouts on the other.

Have AJ Styles retire Ric Flair as a wrestler.
Have Abyss retire Mick Foley as a wrestler.
Have Beer Money retire Team 3D.
Revamp the X Division.
Bring back the world X Cup.
Bring an international flair into the X Division.
Get rid of the Suicide character and use Kiyoshi.
Revamp the Knockouts Division.
Get rid of the Knockouts tag team titles.
Team Eric Young and Tomko together and make them a Jerishow type of team.
Reunite LAX and have them go heel after a couple of months being face.
Look more into wrestlers in the Indies.
Stop releasing the wrestlers that the fans have labeled as TNA worthy.
Travel to other venues other than the Impact zone.
Go Live to prevent spoilers from leaking onto the internet.
Communicate with your wrestlers more to find some common ground.

No rackmors just no TNA is not exposed enough to have two shows so no.

Back to the forum Xplosion is already based on X-Division guys and other guys that are not on impact like Wolfe and Maguns so what's the point of having a show about just X-Division. Xplosion is fine as it is yeah it be good too see a show just about the high flyers but these people are not main eventers or draw a dime so you need bigger guys on Xplosion like Terry and Maguns.
