I need your help sXe WZ society!

So in october the third, me and my girlfriend are going to celebrate the third year we are together! So I was thinking that I should cook something for her, so last night I was searching thorugh the internet some recipes kinda sexy,lol. But I have one problem: most of those dishes are cooked with alcohol (wine, whiskey, coganc etc..) and I'm straight edge for only 7 or 8 months now. So my question to you is: it's ok for me (for us sXe) to eat something that was cooked with alcohol? I don't know here in Bolivia anyone that is sXe, but here in WZ I hope you can help me Thank you.

Obviously it's my fucking life! If it wasn't I wouldn't be socialist or atheist. What I'm asking is if other guys that I can relate to can give their opinions. I'm not saying that I'm going to do whatever people tell me. It's the principle of an advise. I ask for one, then I think of it if I'm going to follow it OR NOT.

There are plenty of substitutes for alcohol in cooking that don't affect the taste negatively at all. I cook quite a bit but never use alcohol. Choose your recipe, then use google to find a suitable non-alcoholic substitute.

Well buddy, there is a quantity of alcohol in your cakes as well. So don't be so picky.
If you like it, cook it with alcohol, no problem. You ain't really boozing off.

I'm straight-edge and a vegan but I do enjoy a rum-ball from time to time
