I need help.

I want to test my hand at Graphic designs. What is an easy, free program I can download. Something quick to use and good for beginners.Also, something legal. Also is there any good tutorials I can find on the program, or can someone help me with it.

Definitely download GIMP. It's completely free and legal. That's what I use.
It's got a lot of the same things as photoshop and is great for beginners right through to gfx veterans.

Then I'd suggest just google searching 'GIMP tutorials' or even 'GIMP sig tutorials'.

Go download the trial version on Photoshop from the Adobe website and delete it if you don't like it. You can find the downloads here:

As a former GIMP user, I can honestly say that is sucks major donkeyshit. Like Dave said, download the Photoshop Trial, you'll be able to get a feel for it, and it's miles better than GIMP is. If you don't want to to that, then you can use Paint.Net, but that sucks too.
