I hope DX doesn't come back for a long time

I'm a huge fan of DX(in 2006), they were funny as hell then, there matches were better. When they stoped for a few years. They announced they coming back as a team, they came back too soon. When i first heard they were coming back i was like um ok. When they came back the first night they were kinda funny, there first few matches were awsome, then there jokes bercame stupid, there matches were boring as hell. Now there gonna be gone from DX for a while I hope they come back as a team for a long time that why won't fail again like this time. Becase when they came back in 2006 they were gone for 7 years there comeback was a success. Most likely if they come back for while(like the first time) it will be sucessful. I know they'll be old when that happens.

I hope DX never comes back, it was used for the attitude era, and it was a success. The 2006 reunion wasnt that bad because WWE was still TV 14, but now in the PG era, DX is useless. Their comedy is so watered down, and they have destroyed their Legacy in this last run by having Hornswoggle in it. DX needs a proper burial, its dead, its gone, and it shouldnt come back. Time for a new generation of cliqics.

its because dx is meant to be about controversy and constantly crossing the line now due to the wwe aiming at children dx couldnt do any of those things instead what we got is two men in there 40s with glowsticks and a pet midget who plug merchendise the 2006 dx was great because they actually could be dx i would definatly like to see dx again but just as soon as this childish pg rating thing ends because the last thing i want to see is a repeat of there latest outing

I also hope dx never comes back its time to move on there not funny anymore. There matches together as a team are not very good, there better off as singles wrestlers at this point in there careers. At the draft one of them should be moved to smackdown

I don't ever see dx coming back because I see triple h costing hbk his match at mania potentially setting up a fued between hbk and triple h which will lead to an retirement match between the two.

Both HHH and HBK are like in their mid 40s and they're still doing those corny skits. Just give it up already, right now at this point in their careers they still have a couple good feuds to offer and they should retire.

Triple H turned 40 last summer so he's nowhere near mid 40's

Anyway back on topic

Actually as it looks right now, the only way I see D-Generation X being back together will be as a one night thing.
Something tells me that the night after Wrestlemania will be the last time we see a segment with DX together as an actual faction / tag team rather than a one night appearance or sudden tag team combination to further a feud like we've seen before with Orton and Cena when they were mixed together to face Legacy.
So yes somehow I think March 29 will be the last night we see DX together, no matter the outcome of HBK vs The Undertaker, because either we'll have a showing where Triple H is most likely pissed because of the things Shawn has been doing the past few weeks basicly screwing over DX for his own good with The Undertaker, or we will be seeing a gathered celebration to honor Shawn Michaels in a way like they honored Ric Flair.

I'm a DX fan, I think that this time around they did better with their matches (What I mean by that is they weren't facing cheerleaders this time and had proper matches) but the jokes were nowhere near as good as they were in '97/98/99/06. But I still liked them as a tag team. I didn't like Hornswoggle being added to the mix, there was no need for him. What I hope happens, is that when HBK returns from his time off, DX should have a return match then BAM HHH heel turn after the match. They could face, I dunno, Legacy as a rematch from HIAC, they could lose, the two hoping to return to top form are a little pissed but still do the crotch chops but HHH ultimately pedigrees Shawn. Yeah they did the same thing in '02, and then in '05 when HHH returned, he and Flair had an Evolution reunion before HHH turned on him but it'd be cool to see yet another turn and perhaps setting up WM27 for Shawn vs. Hunter. That is if Shawn wins at WM26.

I beg to differ, besides Triple H is only just 40. I also feel that Triple H has many years at the top ahead of him, especially if he keeps himself in good shape. As for HBK, he may not have that many years ahead of him, but I hope that he goes out in style.

As for DX, I am glad that it's over in its most recent form. It was becoming unbearable to watch two of the "greats" doing childish comedy skits and repeating the same crap over and over again. The original DX (back in the late 90's) was awesome, but it's not the same era in WWE now and times have changed in general....time to bury DX once and for all. Heck, even WWE's reincarnation of the nWo was better than DX.

The best DX was Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Chyna. Since that original group, all DX since has been is a opportunity to sell merchandise. The original DX stood for something; it was extremely risque, crude and controversial. The newer incarnations of DX haven't been anywhere as unique as the original because the original did all that could possibly have been done.

Now when DX music hits, 10,000 glowsticks (which sell for $10 a pair) go up in the air and HBK skips to the ring and Triple H makes the "X" sign with his forearms.

I am glad that DX is gone, hopefully for good. Its lost everything it once stood for and hasn't been replaced by anything.

DX is pretty much done with for 2010 I expect. HBK is going to take time off after WrestleMania just as he did last year to rest up and spend time with his family. Plus, depending upon how his match with 'Taker goes, he might not wrestle again for quite a while. Even if he loses, his career won't be over but it'll probably be a while before he wrestles again.

As for Triple H, there are talks that his quads have been giving him problems and that he's planned to take time off. Also, Stephanie McMahon is pregnant again and is expected to pop sometime in July just like their other two kids. So, he'll definitely take some time off late this summer to spend time with his family. And, when he returns, there's been talk of him eventually turning heel sometime this year.

So yeah, DX is pretty much over for the time being. Overall, I think it needs to stay gone or they run the risk of running down the DX legacy.

My opinion is that as soon as the WWE turned PG and they came back they were completely destroyed. Their title reign was mediocre at best and no one will even remember they even had the titles to begin with. I hope all 3 (Taker, HHH, and Shawn) all take time off because their careers are pretty much almost over. They should take whats left and run with it instead of wasting it in the very repetitive and bland WWE.

I don't ever see dx coming back because I see triple h costing hbk his match at mania potentially setting up a fued between hbk and triple h which will lead to an retirement match between the two.
You do realize if HBK loses, he is retired? You know that, right? Anyway, I seriously hope DX never comes back. Jerishow was making other teams look really good in their matches, they made Cryme Tyme look like contenders. CRYME TYME! And then DX comes along and they take Jerishow's titles, and have them separate, just so Miz can take Jericho's place so Jericho can be the World Heavyweight Champion. But, back on topic, DX is supposed to be these degenerates who break the rules and start trouble and make dick jokes, not plug wwe.com products and run around with the 8th dwarf, ****** who screams and yells because he can't talk.

DX was gnarly back in 2006 when it returned it was fresh, 2009 it was kind of lame, they put over Ted and Cody and by the looks of things I can see them breaking up this coming Monday so it was a pointless match, and winning the tag titles is a rad achievement but they really down played the belts and pretty much kicked everything Jeri-Show did as tag champs.

I honestly hope they take time off, as I'm pretty much sick of the title matches being the same guys on RAW, Shawn needs to move to Smackdown once his programe with Taker has finished and hopefully not retire.

And Undertaker? I honestly hope WWE keeps Survivor Series for one more year and have him retire at the last ever Survivor series, maybe in some kind of cool gnarly concept match we've never had or a buried alive match with Shawn, with a few of the guys coming and burying Taker for good, no return nothing.

DX needs to be gone. It was entertaining the first time around but every time been brought back since it's sucked. This last time was the worst though; nothing but shameless self promotion and trying to get kids to buy "cool" DX gear.

I've been waiting and wishing for the end of dx since the second week they were back. They were awesome when they first came out but now their just rediculous. Their not funny. All they did was promote merchandise. A couple of things were funny but not worth bringing them back. I'm glad their gone it was a waste of tv time and a waste of good talent

I NEVER want to see this "DX" again. When they reunited, it was NOT DX. It was a marketing trick. The DX tag team in 2006 was pretty bad, but the most recent pairing was GARBAGE. A PG-DX?? Are you kidding me? I have never seen a more blatent attemp at selling merchandise...until they added Hornswoggle.

DX was a STABLE, not a tag team, so that was the first thing that bothered me. I just don't want to see it again. It was used to sell merchandise and to keep HHH and HBK in the storylines. They are two of the WWE's biggest stars, they don't need to be in a tag team, and they most definitely do not need to hold the tag team championships. Shawn is getting older, so I doubt he will be around more than another year. It's sad when I want Shawn to retire JUST so I don't have to see another horrible DX reunion.

I think we've seen the last of DX on a long term Scale. Yes they will Re-Unite for One Night specials and Such but I dont think we're ever going to see them together for months again.

Shawn's Career is coming to a close. Whether it be at this years Wrestlemania Or Next Years Shawn doesn't have that much left in him.

HHH, Needs to start putting over younger guys. Having him put over Sheamus at Wrestlemania would be excellent because it solidifies Sheamus as a Main Event Star but it also shows that HHH is losing his Touch and will start to put over more and more rookies.

I hope i never see another DX again. Someone posted earlier about how DX was a stable in the first place not a tag team. Thats why i didn't even like the second go around. back in the day they were so angry (well shawn was HHH was just kinda there back when it first started) and it was all about bringing out the backstage elements into the show. I understand they they brought it back for merchandising but i mean cmon the stuff that they did in 06 was bad enough but this last time was enough. the only DX I wanna see is Shawn HHH Chyna before the brest surgeries and rude, def not the midget

I'm going to be completley honest, I only think "D-Generation X" came back in 2009 just for merchendising sales, I mean DX doesnt fit into the new pg era. They were funny as hell in 2006, and they were when they first started too, but all those childish jokes they did was just rediculous, and especially having Hornswoggle as thier mascot, thats just idiotic. Now Shawn Michaels is gone though, best wishes to him and his family, so there definatley won't be any more DX (i hope not) unless there is a DX reunion type of thing on an anniversery show or something.
But like I said, the PG era of DX was just for merchendising sales, I garentee it.

you sound like a 10 year old kid.....god i wont even get into explaining the REAL DX in the 90's.

I like DX just as much as the next person but like most people I fell don't we get enough of DX every year. It was o.k. in 2006 because we hadn't seen a DX reunion since 2000, I really don't count 2002 because they were only togather for like a week or 2 before Triple H turned his back on HBK. Also we hadn't seen the 2 of the original members of DX since 98 so it was o.k. in 06. But know they shove them down our throats like they do with John Cena, I mean honestly this year they were so corny and out of style to me and people saying "suck it" now is just so lame and kiddy I mean honestly who has said "suck it" since the 90's other than kids. I don't know if its because I just grew out of them or its just been I've been watching them since 97 but their getting like the NWO. I mean if they were to do a reunion at least do a DX Army reunion and I mean a real DX Army reunion not that fake b.s. DX Army with HBK, HHH, and Hornswoggle I mean with X-Pac, Chyna, and the New Age Outlaws. Its kind of sad though because half of these memebers really want nothing to do with WWE, Chyna and The Outlaws hate Triple H and lets not forget X-Pac did that sex tape with Chyna and his with TNA as of now.

I have to agree I think they was just there to sell merchandise. But considering that HBK is gone now I'm starting to think it was to sell merchandising and to give the heart break kid his last title in WWE as the tag team champion since he didn't want a world title and giving him a mid card title would be like down a step for him.

DX 2006 was good, but nothing compared to the 90s. The last version was bad. Still popular, but it lost the whole meaning of the original, which was to be offensive and controversial. If they ever go back to a tv-14 rating, then they can reincarnate the stable with some young guys. Not that it will make sense anymore since Generation X has gotten older, but whatever.
