I have just made an interesting discovery

Thursday night I went to the Metallica/Down show, and yes it was fucking epic and I will be giving a better review of the show when I have more time, but anyway, this morning I was looking at both Metallica and Down's merch sections on their sites and made an interesting little discovery, it turns out that one of the shirts Metallica is selling at the shows for $35 you can get off their site for only $18, it's this shirt BTW

, the shirt has no tour dates on it or anything, and all the other shirts they are selling on the tour aren't on the site, now onto Down who from what I saw only had two shirts for sale at the show, one was more of a girls shirt, the other was the one with the tour dates on the back, and they were selling it $40 and at the show they didn't have it in any size larger than a large, you can go to Down's site and buy the exact same shirt (that means with tour dates on the back and everything) for only $25, so yeah from now before you go to a show and check out the T-shirt stand, you may want to check out the bands site and see what shirts they have on it so that you don't get ripped of and pay more for a shirt than you have too

makes you think why do they put such a mark up on them, Surely it should cost more on the net becuase of P&P, etc.

I'm glad they were good, I want to grab some tickets for when they come over here again.

It costs more at the show because they hope you'll get caught up in the excitement and pay too much.
