I grew a full beard

Im 27 and I didnt grow my first beard till a couple months ago. Im usually clean shaven or once in awhile Ill have a goatee but one day I just said fuck it and decided to grow a beard, I thought it looked sweet but my girlfriend didnt like it and I didnt get many positive reviews so I eventually shaved it a couple weeks later. I think I have too much of a baby face for a beard which is why it didnt look right with it but in general beards do kick ass.

Ahhhh, someone decided it was time to summon the awesome prescence of I, The Bearded One. You just have to give it time and eventually the itch will go away. Try shampooing it thouroghly. If all else fails, it is just a sign that you are not fit to grow a beard.

You just randomly pop-up and give people beard advice?

I am thinking of growing a beard but my facial hair often show's shades of ginger far more than my hair (which is only lightly ginger), should I grow a beard or continue to shave lazily?

I havent shaved in over a week and got a goatee growing in....basically because I been sick and too lazy to shave

I have full on Wolverine-sque chops that are not quite a beard but would be if I had the mustache and chin hair. never measured but I think they were 2 inches long if not slightly more.
Sadly for a new job I recently had to shave them down to only 1 inch long, then when I went in management said they where still too long and had to shave them again to .5 inch.
For me they never itch and I will agree that eventually when they get long enough the itching should subside. Oh also I should note that I do shampoo facial hair when showering and use a mild face moisterizer after I towel dry, but thats specifically for my dry skin, you probably wont have to.

Baby face.

Actually I am a baby face, with facial hair. I look too much like a baby without facial hair now.

Some might say that. But I lurk in all parts of the forums waiting for a topic that tickles my fancy.

It matters. Are you self concious of your gingerbeard? If not, go for the grow. If you are, shave lazily.

What he said, only full-on facial beard. Complete with the neck-attachment. :( I'd let it continuously grow if for two reasons.

1. The Wife doesn't mind facial hair, except when it's grown longer than a week.

2. Neck beards suck major ass.

It itches still, but less often. I've gone from a constant low itch, to a sporadic extremely high frequency itch. Shampooing has been the best solution for now.

You truly are the Yoda of facefuzz. :worship:

I don't grow out mine, I'm 17 and my male part of my family all have very heavy beards. It takes me about 3 weeks to grow out full sideburns and a good mustash and goo t. I grew one over the summer and still I have a bald spot under my chin. When it starts to itch for me I usualy just let it go. But if it gets to the point of really bad itching my uncle told me to use head and sholders. It worked for me, and my face really cleared up of acne. But if you don't have a beard it kind of drys out your face. Idn why but it does.
