I broke my microwave

So, there I am cooking potato smilies in the oven. All going well, when the timer on the microwave goes. I take the smilies out the oven and think "hmm, these could do with a couple more minutes" so I put them back in, and stick what I thought was just the timer on for another 2 minutes. Then I hear a strange noise coming from the kitchen and go in to find the microwave flashing with smoke out the top. Turns out I'd put it on full power for two minutes.

Total write-off...

Funny story. When I was little, my mom dragged me to her friend's house all the time. They were total slobs.

I would get bored when the adults were talking, and back then microwaves were new and expensive.

So, I decided to investigate the microwave. I turn it on, and all hell breaks loose, sparks, everything.

THE FUCKING IDIOTS WERE USING THE MICROWAVE TO STORE SILVERWARE! I never did find out if mom bought them a new one. I'll have to ask her.

In the oven. I just used the microwave for the timer. Or at least I thought I did.

I remember a couple of months ago I was using this microwave at the house I was renting. Well what happened is that I decided to make myself some popcorn and so I put the popcorn in the microwave for 2 1/2 minutes. After about 30 seconds I smell something burning and decide to see what it was. After just 30 second the popcorn was completely burnt.

I took out the popcorn and closed the microwave door. As soon as I close the door I hear an explosion. I open the door again to find out the dish in the micro exploded into a bunch of pieces.

Ever since that day I try to not use microwaves so much.
