I'm waiting for TNA fans to use the same comments we've been making for the last few years.

What would those be, exactly — remarks about how it's hilarious how some fans react when "Hogan" and "WWE" are in the same sentence, yet the opposite occurs when "WWE" is replaced with "TNA"?

It's mentioned on IMDB's news feed. Other than Rock, who else would get that kind of a response?

That's a big reason why they brought him back if you're wondering.

Wrestlemania should begin with the return of Hogan and end with an appearance from Sting after Taker's match.

Why? WWE can afford his fee and it's the biggest show of the year. Why NOT get the Hulkster?

Oh they should but the WWE fans mocking of Hogan in TNA the last few years has been laborious.

Love it, Hogan coming back XXX. Many jokes, lotta love sponge.

Its a big deal and will add to the allure. His backstage interaction with Warrior at Mania should be fun.

I don't really think, though, that the manner in which Hogan will be employed in WWE is exactly the same as the manner in which he was utilized in TNA, especially his first couple of years there. Fans reacted adversely to him being the pivotal guy in TNA at a point in his life and career when he wasn't able to do so. In WWE, he will now be a role player, a piece of the pie, and that's all. A huge nostalgia pop and little more behind that. Hardly the same thing at all.

Sure, he will return and get quite the fan reaction and pop. Too bad there isn't a disgruntled absent superstar who could return and take him out, pissed off about losing his Wrestlemania moment to yet another returning superstar from yesteryear.

You sure? Because reports of him sticking around as Raw GM are popping up.

I saw that and it saddens me. It was absolute shit in TNA, in the WWE, it would be the same pure shit, just on a grander scale. I suppose that would make it even shittier, right?

Hogan vs. Maddox for control of Raw should be the WrestleMania pre-show match. Just a 30-90 second squash followed by 15 minutes of posing. Then he could go right into his hosting duties. The crowd would go apeshit, and precious 'Mania time would be saved by already having his slow old ass in the ring.
