How WWE can make the bunny and Adam Rose work

I loved this Friday on Smackdown when Kane looked like a monster making the town run. On Smackdown after he beat Rose streak it got me thinking. What about if Adam Rose turned heel and said partying led him to failure and now it is time to be serious. He drops a pipebomb on the rosebuds talking about how he "hangs around a bunch of worthless hungover followers who has nothing left to do but party all day." He attacks the bunny and tells him to "grow up already,your a grown man in a bunny costume." Him and the bunny has a few matches. The next week The bunny his self turns heel as a monster character (played by Eric Rowan.) This may sound dumb but here me out. There are things you wouldn't think are scary leperchans (at least regular ones),dolls. But look at movies like Chucky or Leperchaun in the hood. So I was thinking making the bunny a sydistic monster. He get's a sick thrill out of hurting people. I would even eventually make his costume devilish red and black. I would really make him scary. Meanwhile Adam Rose is making his way up the ramp as a angry frustrated former partier who is now mad at the world. Showing a ruthless attitude and becoming world champion one day. Thoughts?

The only way that would work is if the bunny was a parody of the monster heel...which I don't see happening. Especially as there are rarely two monster heels at once (three, if you count Brock).

My problem with this angle...besides Adam Rose being an annoying character, is that both have been written as heels who for some reason are treated as faces. Adam Rose obnoxiously interrupts people who have nothing to do with him. By coming out during Steph's promo and calling her a lemon, he was practically asking for Kane.

Then the rosebuds try to protect the Bunny, who despite being shown to be a dangerous wrestler, flees like a Seth Rollins.

Yet apparently we're supposed to cheer for them...

Meh, I'm fine with it being a comedy angle. They should just remember to put some humor in it beside from "he's a bunny so it's automatically funny".

I don't know, have the bunny constantly try to be friend with slater gator and them trying hard to be angry with him but faltering or something, anything.

I don't see how the Bunny can be anything other than a comedy gimmick. I mean...c'mon...it's a man dressed up in a bunny suit. It's a guy hopping around in an exaggerated costume of one of the cutest, cuddliest, most timid creatures on the planet. It's as threatening as a knife made outta cotton candy.

Reports have stated that Adam Rose ultimately occupies Santino Marella's spot. Like Santino, Rose & the Bunny get a pretty decent response from the fans, but they ultimately see them as harmless and not to be taken seriously against higher talent, especially title holders. However, it wouldn't surprise me at this point if Vince decided to book Rose & the Bunny as a top tag team, even give them a title run. Right now, Vince is in much more of a "sports entertainment" mind set than we've seen out of him in quite a while, so this isn't out of the realm of possibility. Some fans would get a kick out of it while more hardcore fans, especially internet fans, would mostly condemn it as an absolute joke that does nothing more than take the tag team titles several steps backward.

Rose and the bunny do work though. They are comedy filler and are moderately over in that role. Not everyone on the card is destined to be World Champions, and Rose is one of those guys. Had his WWE career started sooner, it may be a different story, but as it stands he didn't make his main roster debut until he was 34/35.

He and the bunny work though, like I said they are comedy filler. Its their role to go out and fill five or ten minutes of space with a goofy match or segment to make the fans happy, or in the case of Smackdown, put over a heel, and science knows Kane needed a win. You may not enjoy his comedy, you may think he is destined for bigger things, but Rose is fine just where he is, especially since the bunny took a more active role.

A gator, a bull, Adam Rose, and a bunny. Is this what happens when Stephanie and the rest of the creative team are on their period? Like really. In what way is a party gimmick entertaining? And Los Matadores, their bull and Swogglegator? If you ask me, the only way for it to work is to keep it off TV.

I don't see what everyone is fussing about? Rose and the Bunny are fine right now. Dare I say when it starts to lose steam(Maybe a week or two) then someone unmasks the bunny. Whoever it is, for sake of this post lets say Justin Gabriel, he says Vince fired him(it's a storyline) and he figured this would be the best way back. Him and Rose form a team and they can even fight for the tag titles...what's the problem with that? Not everyone is gonna be a main eventer, just being on TV is great so let them enjoy being a comedy team!

Adam Rose and the Bunny work just fine the way they are. This is a group that isn't supposed to be serious, and not all matches have to be a wild ride.

Personally I think the Bunny is great and has some skills. Some wrestlers can't do what he does without a furry suit on, can you imagine how hard it is to do a superkick wearing it. Not to mention how hot under the lights.

I'm sure it's a short term comedy act. Fans will want to know who the Bunny is and want him revealed. What I find hilarious is JBL's reaction to it everytime. It's the only thing that really gets him going these days.

To the OP that is a great idea, considering I'm sick of the bunny and Adam rose and honestly all comedy gimmicks. Just stupid with the gator and bull horrible. At least your idea would have me interested. It would be like those scary clown movies where something so harmless haunts the town. I agree man I say let's go for it but we all know WWE won't do it, logic and creativity aren't their strong points

its a bunny, it needs to be fed to ryback then never seen or heard from again, adam rose was doing fine performance wise before that damn mascot got involved.
If Rose could get shot if half that entourage and gets on the I.C title trail he might get a half decent career, wasted talent atm
