How old were you when you realized what wrestling really was?

Disturbed

Championship Contender
All my life I knew wrestling was fake in some sort of fashion but I never realized they had creative writers and a real script like a movie. I never understood how it was fake. I just liked a certain person or people and I cheered for them to win. Didn't know what a kayfabe or anything was.

So how old were you when you realized what wrestling really was.

I was 11 or 12 when I first got internet and started getting on Wrestlezones home page.

I thought it was completly real until like 2nd grade, despite my parents and grandparents telling me otherwise. Figured it out, and I like it just as much as I did before. More actually.

Ever since I saw someone lay down long enough to take a peoples elbow, all the people in school used to get up long before I could hit it on them

This. I forgot how old I was but I was in Elementary school.

But when did you start to understand it and know what kayfabes and stuff was and try to follow backstage stuff with storylines.
