How much longer will TNA remain in business for?

I've been on and off various Wrestling forums for about 10 years, and people have been asking this question since 2003!

I think TNA will stay in business for a long long time. I still hope that in 20 years we will be watching TNA and thinking to ourselves 'Ah, we were fans when TNA first started in 2002!'

I think we will be watching TNA in 20 years!

TNA is growing all the time.

They also have problems.

But I think the future is bright for TNA, and for those that work for TNA, and those who of us who are TNA fans.

Of course none of us can even hope to answer this question. How long is a piece of string?

But TNA (and ROH) remind me why I am a Wrestling fan.

WWE, whilst having some wonderful wrestlers, and still having wonderful matches when it wants, is largely rubbish in my opinion.

TNA has been, and still is so refreshing to watch and my love and support for it has grown and grown.

I think TNA is about to enter a new phase, and I'm going to enjoy watching the ride...

Interesting because Kurt Angle said 2 years ago that TNAs ratings are going up little by little yet 2 years late TNAs ratings remain between a 0.9 and 1.2 and this is after all the new talent has been introduced.

I feel that once TNA loses all the old school talent like Angle, Sting, Booker, Steiner and Nash. There ratings will take a big hit. Also TNA have dropped the Impact replay when it was only getting a 0.2 rating.

I don't think Impact will ever go head to head with Raw.

TNA's going nowhere. They've pretty much cemented themselves in wrestling right now. Jarrett being gone kinda excites me, I was sick of seeing him save the day from the MEM. Sting leaving is gonna hurt them a little bit, but he helped them tremendously, so they'll do right by him. Steiner leaving; who gives a fuck? When's the last time you turned on TNA to see Scott Steiner do anything? Go ahead, i'll wait. .... Mk? All the young guns you mentioned will be pushed, they're just setting up what I think is the demise of the MEM. When they're gone, you'll definitely see more of the young guns. All in due time brotha, all in due time.

Well with Booker T, Scott Steiner and Sting due to leave soon in TNA its fair to say that these three have quite some drawing power and will not help TNAs ratings at all once they leave.

Heading into BFG TNA are scoring 1.0 ratings which is poor and Russo is rumoured to be leaving after BFG. The Impact replay was dropped altogether when it only scored a 0.2 rating. what was the point in that? It hasn't helped ratings and has any veteran put over any young talent in TNA? Only Angle.

Also the asylum where TNA used to host it's shows before has now shutdown which is not helpful.

TNA has hit a 0.9 rating recently and i'm not a fan of seeing more knockouts wrestling which is only being showcased more because they draw high ratings.

TNAs young guys are buried because they lack drawing power so i feel once the established names go like the MEM originals TNA are in trouble.

i hope tna stays around to eventually start The Monday Night Wars Part 2. i hope that somehow vince russo and company pull it together. what tna need is someone like ted turner. someone with a shit load of money to try and dominate wwe and give tna what ever the fuck they want.

It all depends on which way they are trying to take the company. If they are going to continue with WCW's thinking of using washed up WWE stars to get ratings then they will fall on their faces when they try to compete with WWE

They can't compete with ECW right now and they have some amazing talent(Angle, Sting, Samoa Joe, Styles) I have faith in them though. If they're going to push the younger talent (Styles, Joe, Daniels, Morgan, LAX) They could someday go head to head with Raw (especially if they pick up Mr.. Anderson and some other great wrestlers Vince didn't know how to use properly.

The X division reminds me a lot of WCW's midcard if they let them shine and start to headline we could see a turn around. With Sting, Steiner and Booker T all rumored to be stepping out of the ring we could finally get a chance to see the future of TNA rise.

Do you think that Scott Steiner and Booker T bring in the ratings at all? They help the ratings very little, if at all. Especially Scott Steiner, he doesn't help the ratings and sucks up alot of money so I say good riddance.

Heading into BFG TNA are scoring 1.0 ratings which is poor and Russo is rumoured to be leaving after BFG. Russo JUST became head booker, and JUST got Ed Ferrara on board. He is not going anywhere for awhile.

their ratings are not the best, but it's football season, and they are having stiff competition from other shows as well. RAW's rating is down as well for the same reasons.

Veterans aren't putting young guys over? Have you watched TNA at all over the last few months?? It's all about the young talent right now in TNA. Kurt Angle, Sting, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Scott Steiner, Rhino, Kip James, and Team 3D have all put over young talent.

Also the asylum where TNA used to host it's shows before has now shutdown which is not helpful.

What does the asylum closing down have ANYTHING to do with TNA being/staying in buisness?! That is where they USED to film their stuff. Not anymore. They haven't produced anything there since they got the impact zone. The asylum closing down has nothing to with TNA's future.

TNA has hit a 0.9 rating recently and i'm not a fan of seeing more knockouts wrestling which is only being showcased more because they draw high ratings.

:lol:Again what does this have to do with TNA's future? That comment made no sense what so ever. The Knockouts more often then not bring in the higest ratings for iMPACT, and are showcased more for that reason. The knockouts have nothing to do with the .9 rating. Just because you're not a fan of the knockouts, what does that have to do with TNA staying in buisness? Because alot of people fans of the Knockouts, as the ratings show.

TNAs young guys are buried because they lack drawing power so i feel once the established names go like the MEM originals TNA are in trouble.

Again, have you even been watching iMPACT over the last few months?? It has been all about the young talent like Matt Morgan, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe, Hernandez, and EY. They have been built up, and not been buried. You obviously don't watch impact much, if at all.

A young TNA orginal is the TNA World Heavyweight Champion right now.

Well Hogan says he is only in TNA to "run it" so we'll see what his and Bischoffs intentions are. Only earlier this year they claimed that TNA is "a small organization with no vision".

The MEM storyline is over and with Russo and Hogan clashing in the past i think it is a really bad idea to give Hogan authority over everyone. I think Bischoff and Hogan are just in TNA to reap it for what it's worth. TNA is in trouble because i think their will be internal on goings as much as on the screen with Hogan around.

But the thing is when they sign wrestlers like Elijah Burke they do it because he has more drawing power than say Jay Lethal so if the old veterans leave TNA you could argue that ratings will go down as say Sting can draw fans than AJ Styles on name.

When all the old school guys leave i think TNA will have problems keeping their ratings above a 1.0 alone.
