NeXus is gone, new NeXus is gone and the best guy in the bunch has been missing in action for quite some time. Skip showed us he should be taken seriously after a heel turn & neXus got his gimmick right!

How many of you are ANTICIPATING Skip Sheffield's Return?

How would you book his return?

I think he's a future champion and by steamrolling through Smackdown he can gain the credibility to main event on the show as well as RAW. He needs to be HEEL for a while because he's gonna be very well liked as a face later.

how i would book his return?

after a cm punk has a match with some one, mike migilicutty and david otunga come out and beat down cm punk. then out comes wade barrett on the stage and says from now on he is going to be taken seriously by taking ther group that cm punk used and mistreaded back, then after 2 weeks of just beating on mid jobbers, on smack down when they are beating on a fan, u here skip sheffeild come out and attack nexus, and says nexus threw him out like a broken toy(they kinda did) and says hes gonna get pay back. and he feuds with nexus and wins the war and nexus disband's for good.

I'm certainly looking forward to his return, and i'm hoping that he re-debut on Smackdown.

As far as booking, I wouldn't give him a Goldberg push but I would like to see him squash a couple locals and then work his way up the ranks into some feuds with Sheamus and Mark Henry... maybe Zeke to start?

I have said this a couple times on here; fuck Mason Ryan as the new Batista. Skip Sheffield would fit the bill way more then Mason Ryan could ever do. I have followed Skip's career since 2005 or so, he's pretty damn solid in and out of the ring. Skip Sheffield is nowhere near the level of green Mason Ryan and fellow powerhouse Ezekiel Jackson are. All he needs is the push. Get rid of his stupid hillbilly name and find one more suiting. Pair him up with Del Rio, Miz or some heel who is super over, only to break away from them when he's ready. You can pretty much build him up almost exactly similer to Batista if necessary. Your new Batista is right in front of you WWE; Skip Sheffield > Mason Ryan. Push him.

LOVE Skip Sheffield, I believe it was his injury that made the Nexus fizzle out - with the powerhouse gone, they just didn't seem like a threat anymore.

I'd book Sheffield the way they SHOULD have booked Ezekiel Jackson's post-Corre push - with a long undefeated streak. Sheff's got the look to just power through the roster, and more importantly, he's actually pretty good on the mic. He was easily the best talker in Nexus after Barrett.

I for one am actually looking forward to his return. The guy's a beast. And his lariat is freaking sweet.

How would I book it? Have Wade Barrett issue an open challenge to anyone in the locker room in a pay per view. When a mysterious badass theme song plays it turns out to be Skip Sheffield. As much as I like Wade Barrett.. Have Sheffield actually win the match with a sick lariat. Then Skip can go on to have a Goldberg-like undefeated streak and well.. He gets pushed like a modern day Goldberg. Have him finally earn a world title shot but against someone like Christian but comes out short due to cheating or outside interference to make him look strong.

I'm a fan of Skip Sheffield and was excited to hear about Vince actually wanting him to be a big face in the WWE which was reported about a year ago. I can't wait for his return and I hope he makes it big and doesn't just get used as a huge bald headed ugly powerhouse jobber to the stars or to put it simple a modern day Gene Snitsky.

Yeah I cant wait till he comes back. Nexus didn't look the same without him. I would put him on smackdown. I would give him Mark Henry's type of push. He is younger, more athletic and just a better wrestler than Henry.

Yes, I would like to see this guy pushed more than Mason Ryan. First, he has to lose the name. Skip Sheffield sounds like one of those 80's mullet jobbers that would get squashed on superstars back in the day. It will be interesting to see what they do with him. Knowing todays WWE though and how they book lately it will be all for naught and he WILL be jobbing sooner than later, and be future endeavored. Shame.

I would pair him with Wade Barrett as a body guard of some sort. They already have a past connection with Nexus so it would make some sense. Or if not that I would put him in a tag team with Tyler Reks. They can have Aksana "pick them up" kind of like Trish Stratus did back in the day with Test and Albert.

I am surely anticipated about seeing him back in the WWE i also agree that Nexus slowly fell apart with his absense.

I hope when he returns he can maybe become a larger singles competitor or maybe team up with a former nexus teammate (Wade Barrett) and maybe contest for the Tag Teams or he could stick around the mid cards ever competing for the US Championshiop or the Intercontinental Championship.

I hope he can pick up from where he left off after this very long layoff. He was starting to get some steam...let's not forget he's still green, but he was coming into his own a bit. I am looking forward to seeing him return and see what he can do!

i think im the only person on these forums who does not care for skip. I dont see it what so ever. He is just another generic big guy, average at best in the ring, average at best on the mic and the only thing he has going for him is his intensity. With guys like tyler black, KoW, jon moxely, sterling james keenan and bo rotundo waiting in the wings i fail to garner any anticipation for the return of another big sloppy guy

I would put him and Zeke in a tag team storyline (we need a dominating tag team and it built the batista character) for about 6-12 months then i would have Zeke go heel and break up the stable. then, i would have them in a bloody ass feud i mean brutal and have skip go over. last, have him destroy cena and start a run for the wwe championship

i honestly don't miss him but if i had 2 pair him up with someone it would have to be Mason Ryan considering that they both were and probably still be very devastating when they eventually return to wwe now as how i would have them start this relationship i would have them come out each week and have them attack first the mid cards then the main eventers then finally form there alliance ala rated rko

1) i have been anticipating hi return, i didnt care for nexus (manily cause they were heel) but i did like skip, he could be the next goldberg, he has the potential to do it plus i heard that vince was high on him so he could make it big time if he does good.

How would you book his return?

2) well, we could let him pop out of nowhere but that isnt smart. he could feud with nexus, but nexus is done (both original and new). i would put him in fcw to get back up to speed. then i would re-debut him on raw having him go after sheamus, or big zeke. have him do this for 6 months, then have him save sheamus from the rath of mark henry. the next week it would be skip sheffield and sheamus vs mark henry and mason ryan. later give him the mainevent push (if he does good) and boom, another top star.

I can't wait for his return, I even enjoyed him on NXT and thought he was awesome with NExus. Hopefully he'll return soon.

I'd have DAvid Otunga come out with a new Hollywood gimmick and start talking about he's better than everyone much like his NXT promos then out of nowhere Skip shows up and destroys him.

This would be a great way for us to see how powerful he is by ruining someone that was Nexus and his former tag partner.

After that have him do similiar run ins destroying other Nexus members on each brand. Heck even have him go on NXT and get Darren Young. Eventually have Teddy and RAW GM / Triple H try to sign him to a brand and he could be making a Lesnar type impact.

I thought he was entertaining and good in the ring.

Unlike most people, I'm not looking forward to Skip Sheffield returning. When I first saw him I thought, "Oh great, another big guy." He's been out for over a year with an injured ankle and the only thing I could see now is reading "WWE has come to terms on the release of Skip Sheffield as of *insert day here.*" Does he have talent? Yes. Is he good on the mic? Somewhat. But I just can't see him returning and getting over with the fans.

Skip's always been my favorite member of the original Nexus, aside from Dickbutt. I was always excited to see him, because he's got such a great core look. I don't remember him being fantastic in the ring, but he could certainly move. He's great on the mic, and he's got a shitload of charisma.

I'm pumped for it.
