Fireworks go off as the ECW theme hits the PA. Shots of fans are shown holding various signs.
Styles: "Hello everybody and welcome to the third episode of the new ECW! Tonight's card is packed with four matches and half of them, are title matches!"
Tazz: "That's right, Styles, and the main event has title implications as Kurt Angle and Elijah Burke take on Rhyno and Randy Orton where if Angle wins, then he gets a future shot at the ECW World Heavyweight Championship at Vengeance: Night of Champions!"
Styles: "And let's not forget that Rob Van Dam still has to worry about John Cena breathing down his neck for the WWE Championship."
Tazz: "No doubt about that, but first up tonight is CM Punk vs. The Miz for the ECW Television Championship!"
Chimel: "This match is set for one-fall and is for the vacant ECW Television Championship!"
CM Punk's theme hits the PA as he does his entrance.
Chimel: "Making his way to the ring, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 220 lbs, CM Punk!"
Fans cheer before the Miz's entrance theme hits as the Miz makes his way to the ring.
Chimel: "Making his way to the ring, from Cleveland, Ohio, The Miz!"
Miz enters the ring as the ref is handed the ECW TV belt by the timekeeper and then hoisting it for the crowd to see. He then hands it back to the timekeeper then calls for the bell before the Miz and CM Punk jaw off at each other.
Styles: "This match is underway with Punk taking it to the Miz early with that punch to the face. Punk now sending the Miz towards the ropes and gets set for a clothesline, but the Miz ducks and rebounds before connecting with a shoulder block."
Miz then sits Punk up and applies a chinlock to Punk. Punk refuses to tap while trying to reach a vertical base.
Tazz: "There he goes, Punk's getting up! He's getting up!"
Punk stands as he elbows the Miz in the stomach before getting clotheslined right back to the ground.
Styles: "A vicious clothesline from the Miz says otherwise, partner."
The Miz then performs a knee drop to Punk's face while Punk remains on the ground.
Styles: "The Miz continues to take apart Punk as he heads to the turnbuckle. Punk looks like he's slowly starting to stand."
The Miz attempts a Reality Check before Punk counters into a Go To Sleep and getting a two-count.
Tazz: "The Miz kicked outta trouble there, but Punk won't let up."
Punk applies the Anaconda Vice on the Miz, who is forced to tap out.
Chimel: "The winner and the new ECW Television Champion, CM Punk!"
Punk's theme hits as he celebrates in the ring before being attacked be Kevin Thorn.
Styles: "Who in the world is that and what in the world are they doing?"
Thorn calls for a mic as the crowd boos.
Thorn: "I am Kevin Thorn, the vampiric lord of Extreme. CM Punk, you and the ECW Television Championship are the first that will know my power as I claim the ECW Television Championship as my own!"
Thorn's theme hits as the crowd boos him excessively. Thorn then leaves as the cameras cut to the commentators.
Styles: "Looks like ECW now has Kevin Thorn to deal with as we get set for match number two, featuring Mike Knox and Terry Funk."
Knox's theme hits as he heads to the ring with Kelly Kelly accompanying him. As he enters the ring, Funk's theme hits as he does his entrance to a pop from the crowd. As Funk enters, though, he low blows Knox before the ref rings the bell.
Styles: "The match is underway and Knox has been low-blowed as the crowd voices is anger!"
Funk sets up for the Texas Piledriver and connects it before pinning Knox for the victory.
Tazz: "That's one ECW Original that won't be getting a Christmas card from me this year! That was a horrible way to pick up the win!"
Winner of the Match: Terry Funk
Funk celebrates before heading backstage as Kurt Angle, Raven, Stevie Richards, and Elijah Burke come to the ring. As they enter, Angle calls for a mic as the crowd boos.
Angle: "Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at the new face of Extreme. We will dominate ECW and you will have no choice but to accept us as ECW itself and-"
Randy Orton's theme hits as he, Rhyno, Sabu, and Rob Van Dam come to the ring with a mic being in Orton's hands. The crowd cheers the group's arrival as Orton speaks.
Orton: "Wait just a minute, there, Kurt. You're forgetting four men that are very pissed at what you did to our friends Tommy Dreamer and the Sandman. Don't think you'll get away with that."
Angle: "Oh, great, so now the snot-nosed brat of Cowboy Bob Orton actually grows a pair!"
Orton: "Actually, Kurt, it's you who grew a pair. That or you just got over-confident in thinking that you and three flash-in-the-pans can do anything when guys such as myself, Sabu, Rhyno, and Rob Van Dam, are here to get in your way."
Angle: "Orton, if you think for a second that none of us can destroy you and your friends then you better guess again."
Orton: "Well, Kurt, I'd rather not. Cause see, if you try anything before, during, or after any matches involving us, the Ex-Factor, then you will lose your shot at the ECW Championship match should you win tonight's main event."
Angle: "Is that so?"
Orton: "Why don't you find out for yourself?"
Both the Ex-Factor and the New Extreme stare off as we go to commercial.
*Commercial Break*
Styles: "We are back from commercial and what a sight we just witnessed as Randy Orton, Sabu, Rhyno, and Rob Van Dam confronted Kurt Angle, Raven, Stevie Richards, and Elijah Burke in a declaration of war between two teams intent on having ECW their way."
Rob Van Dam's theme hits as he and Sabu return to the ring for their ECW Tag Team Championship Match.
Chimel: "The following is an extreme rules match and is for the ECW Tag Team Championship! Making their way to the ring, representing Ex-Factor, Rob Van Dam and Sabu!"
The crowd cheers as Sabu and Van Dam make their way to the ring. As they enter, Angle's music hits to a chorus of boos as Raven and Stevie Richards make their way to the ring.
Chimel: "And representing New Extreme, Raven and Stevie Richards!"
The bell rings as Raven and Richards enter the ring, with Sabu and Van Dam attacking them instantly. Sabu then leaves the ring and pulls out a pair of Singapore canes, tossing one to Van Dam who then hits Raven hard on the head.
Styles: "This match starts off with Ex-Factor taking it to Raven and Richards but it looks like Richards has stopped Sabu in his tracks!"
Richards grabs Sabu's cane and yanks it out of his hands, nailing Sabu in the stomach before hitting Van Dam as well. Both Raven and Richards then set up for DDT's.
Tazz: "Uh oh, Styles, this does not look good!"
Raven and Richards hit the Even Flow DDT on Van Dam and Sabu respectively before going for the victory.
Chimel: "The winners and the new ECW Tag Team Champions, Stevie Richards and Raven!"
Richards and Raven celebrate before heading to the back as Van Dam and Sabu look flustered before they too head to the back.
Styles: "We are now at the main event where the other two members of New Extreme, Kurt Angle and Elijah Burke, will take on Randy Orton and the War Machine Rhyno."
Angle's music hits as he and Burke head to the ring to a chorus of boos. As they enter, Orton's music hits as he and Rhyno enter to a massive pop from the crowd. The teams have a stare down before deciding that Orton will face off against Angle.
Styles: "This match is underway as Orton and Angle go for a lock-up and Angle instead pokes Orton in the eyes, why hasn't the ref rang the bell?"
Tazz: "Cause the ref is none other than that lying and cheating ref, Earl Hebner!"
Both watch as Angle then body slams Orton as he then gets ready for the Ankle Lock only to be hit by an RKO from Orton.
Styles: "Both men are down and both are going for a tag, Angle makes the tag to Burke and Orton gets to Rhyno who promptly levels Burke and throws Angle down to the floor outside of the ring!"
Rhyno then charges at Burke who rolls away as Rhyno slams into the turnbuckle. Burke then goes for a roll-up for two as Orton enters and knocks Burke off of Rhyno.
Tazz: "Nice teamwork there by Orton and Rhyno as they hit a double clothesline on Burke. Orton really impresses me with his skill and the fans sure as hell love him."
Styles: "He's definitely had a massive change as he leaves the ring and tags Rhyno to become the legal man. Orton now stalking Burke, and boom, RKO as Angle gets bumped by Rhyno, here's the pin..."
The ref slow counts but Burke still fails to kick-out before the two count as Angle breaks it up after quickly sliding in. Burke then gets to the corner after Angle leaves and tags him in.
Styles: "Angle in and going for the Olympic Slam!"
Angle hits the slam on Orton and gets a fast count pin for a victory over Orton and Rhyno as the crowd boos.
Chimel: "The winner and the new number-one contender for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, Kurt Angle and his partner, Elijah Burke!"
Angle and Burke celebrate as they are joined by Raven and Richards before Mikey Whipwreck arrives and clears the four from the ring. Shane Douglas then attacks from behind, hitting him with a barbed-wire bat as New Extremes beats down Whipwreck as the show goes off.
