How do you earn green rep?

Its occurred to me that people who have 60 posts and less already have 4 or 5 rep bars. I would also like to get some rep, so how do i earn it?

I actually feel bad I have such low rep as is...but normally, when I post, I make it in something important and about something important and that normally gets me some Rep.

Try green repping people, some do it in return, but never ask for rep, that means red rep.
