There's something magnetic about Kerry Von Erich. He wasn't the best in the ring, he certainly wasn't the best on the microphone, but he was one of those guys that had a charisma that was difficult to put your finger on. Edge's outcome in this tournament has generally been way too generous or way too reactionary and hopefully this year he goes as far as he should. A superb wrestler who may not have been the greatest champion of all time, but that was the point, he wasn't supposed to be. To stay consistently a heel and getting booed while pulling off top performances has been a struggle for most guys in the 21st century, but Edge achieved it. Edge wins.

Kerry was a hot commodity in Texas & this is where his journey ends. Cut short a bit too early as in life. He would probably have been a cornerstone in WCW down the line if he stayed alive, but alas.

Edge may have had to hang it up early, but his resume dwarfs his opponent here. No way he goes out now.
