A pal of mine sent me this link which is supposedly Paul Heyman's new wrestling promotion.

I like Heyman and feel he's a genius but I can't really tell if this will be a success or if he will put this under the bust category.

So take a look and lemmeknow what you think of it.

I remember catching wind of this a few months ago, actually. I don't know what to think just yet. It's hard to make a determination.

Truthfully, I think it can only go one of two ways. Either it's going to be incredibly cliche and will flop horribly. Or, it's going to actually try something new, find it's groove, make some adjustments and be a decent independent promotion. Probably nothing more. Still, not bad.

Nonetheless, I have a feeling that it will be the former. Unfortunately, it's just hard to assume a promotion that's trying something SO drastically different in a world where the black wrestlers don't always get the most attention is hard to simple assume will work.

Still, I'll be on the look out for it.

Heyman has a brilliant mind for booking. His ability to deal with finances is another matter. So I hope for his sake, he has some one helping him with the financial side of things. I would love to see it and see how it works out for him.

The more wrestling the better...and Heyman has something to do with this, that's awesome. Wrestling is like music.. it's an art there are so many different versions or layers of pro wrestling that you can put out there. I hope this does very well and inspries other people to put out more wrestling feds with their own unique spin on it.

So, let me get this straight.

This is a hybrid of wrestling and hip-hop. Where the rappers will manage the wrestlers in every match? That doesn't sound good at all.

I get that they're aiming for something new, and it's unique and shit but I can't get behind that idea. And if Paul Heyman is behind it, that's a great person to have, one of the best and you'll probably get a fanbase right from the start but I just don't get how they've meshed rappers with professional wrestlers.

And what did that Briscoe guy say? I didn't understand a word.

Well I see this going to two ways... The Master P and the No Limit Soilder way when Bischoff tried that Rap vs Country thing or to actually be a successful venture. Heyman made it clear that he would not want to come into TNA unless the deal was right and everything was in order. I do think Heyman has grown a lot since his days of running ECW. Hip Hop is one of the most popular genres of music in the world, it's mainstream music. Vince Mcmahon has tapped into that a bit with John Cena and R Truth but for a wrestling promotion to take on the hip hop vibe and mix the two together sounds like a very good idea on paper. Again it doesn't seem like they're getting top artists in hip hop but who knows what can happen if this thing has success.

I'm rooting for them. Like I said the more wrestling on TV and more kinds of pro wrestling on TV the better.
