Hey, TNA marks...

D-Man

Gone but never forgotten.
You guys had better put up your reviews in the TNA Review thread quickly... there's already been three reviews that shit on last night's show! That means you guys have to come in and post a ton of bullshit excuses as to why that abomination of an Impact broadcast was actually good and actually made sense!!

Lulz...

I wonder, do you think that eric bischoff is over rated for being a creative story line writer? I mean the only thing that I really seem him do is build this heel groups and its like a repeat for him.

He's overrated because he had a few REALLY good ideas but mostly dogshit ones. He hasn't been able to duplicate the magic that he helped create during the Attitude Era. Sure, he writes some good storylines from time to time, but most of the time, like you said, they are revolved around factions, shooting, "realism" (pulling the curtain back), and hostile takeovers.

I'm over it.

My reason for this thread was because I'm just waiting for a blind TNA mark like Zevon_Zion to find a billion reasons why Impact was so "awesome" last night when it obviously sucked my nuts. That's two weeks in a row. So, let's recap...

Bound For Glory
They have (what most TNA fans refer to as) the greatest swerve/storyline in TNA history. They build a faction and provide us with a major swerve and heel turn in Jeff Hardy and pull the company-carpet out from under Dix Carter all at the same time. Decent stuff.

The Following Thursday
As if the Hardy/Hogan/Bischoff/Abyss/Jarrett faction wasn't powerful enough and didn't have enough members, they align with Fourtune and add another 8 wrestlers (if you count Flair) to their already overwhelming stable. Now, 3/4 of TNA's heels are in a combined stable now called "Immortal".

2 1/2 weeks later on the October 28th episode of Impact
Matt Morgan decides to grow a conscience and rebels against Immortal while protecting Ken Anderson. So 2 1/2 weeks after they did the biggest swerve in their promotion's history they decide to kick out their biggest enforcer and largest member in Matt Morgan. Um... ok.

That Night on Reaction
Doug Williams shows sympathy for Morgan and teases a face-turn. (Another member dropping off already??)

Weeks Following
Doug Williams continues to show some resistance to Immortal and continues the face-turn teases...

Last Night's Impact
Doug finally does the full face-turn, just 3 weeks after Morgan turned face and only 5 1/2 weeks after the greatest stable in TNA history was former, including them.

How does ANY of that make sense?? Not to mention the fact that Jarrett, after years of being in the pro-wrestling business, is now a master of MMA and gets his own horrifically boring segment that takes television time away from tons of more important aspects of the show.

I'm sick of sticking up for TNA. Since I really wish it was better, I'll continue to watch it. But I'm not gonna like it.

If someone says anything to the affects of "Blame Russo" I'm going to lose it.

Nah I think I'll go to the WWE section and bitch about how Cena no sold the RKO, the move that garners the biggest pops in the WWE, by popping up in less than 2 minutes and standing tall to end the show.

Jarrett is a heel talking big about something he obviously isn't good at and Joe scared him off, Morgan turned because of certain principles he believed in and Doug figured out that he basically was not gonna benefit by staying in the group.

But hey that's logic. Why bother with it? TNA SUX.

Does it really matter that Cena was up faster than usual after that RKO?

The crowd went crazy when he AA'd the piss out of Wade Barrett. He could not have done that if he laid their like the RKO killed him.

It was a good moment when Cena AA'ed Barrett. But why not save it until the PPV? That way people will be more interested to see the PPV because they would be interested to see Cena beat down on Barrett.

And anyway does it not make the RKO look weak?

Cena is the first guy to come remotely close to "no selling" the RKO. He was holding his head and neck, BTW, after he got rid of Orton. Plus, Cena is the top guy on the show. He can do things no other man can logically do; I'd bet he could get pregnant by one of the Bellas if he really wanted to.

And enough with that "wait for the PPV" criticism. No one was preaching that shit all those time Austin came out on top at the end of Raw.

So let me get this straight.

A fresh Cena stays down from a move for nearly 2 minutes and then gets up. That's no selling?

A move!? KB. It wasn't some german suplex dude. Its the move that has killed almost everyone over the past 6 months.

And sarcy, I'm as big a mark for Austin as you are of Barrett. Except that I do not want to sleep with the guy. So please tell me the move and the event where Austin no sold a finisher.

Owen Hart's piledriver at SummerSlam '97

The fact that The Rock had to use three fucking Rock Bottoms to beat Austin is why more "bitching about nothing" worthy than Cena getting up after a few minutes from a RKO. The irony, you got JR screaming about how very few people kicked out of the Rock Bottom before, yet Austin twice in a row in the same match.

And I don't sleep with Wade. LR79 would kill me. :theyareontome:

What!?!?! He broke his freaking neck with that move. Compared to that Cena's reaction to the RKO is like being being bitten by a mosquito.

And the piledriver was not Owen's finisher.

Yeah sarcy Austin kicked out at like a 2 and 3/4 count and also looked spent after taking the move. Plus it was his last match and a bit excusable.
