Alex Shelley will finally make his Ring of Honor return on Saturday May 10th in Toronto, Canada as ROH and New Japan present GLOBAL WARS. The Time Splitters will be competing as Shelley will be teaming with his New Japan partner KUSHIDA. Since KUSHIDA's announced involvement on these events many fans have contacted ROH asking if The Time Splitters would be teaming. We are thrilled to announce that they will be.

Shelley is a world traveled competitor who has established himself as one of the top tag team wrestlers on the planet in many major organizations. He is a former two time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. In his career he has been in top tier tag teams with the likes of KUSHIDA, Chris Sabin, Austin Aries, and Roderick Strong. He's been a member of The Time Splitters, Motor City Machine Guns, and Generation Next. Shelley is also a highly successful singles star and was involved in some of the best technical matches ROH has ever seen between 2004 and 2006. His classic bouts can be seen on his new two disc DVD: Alex Shelley Made In Detroit

The Time Splitters' opponents, and other major matches will be announced later this afternoon! ROH and New Japan officials are currently finalizing the card and will be able to provide more details in the upcoming hours. Check back to rohwrestling.com to find out who The Time Splitters will compete against, as well as who The Bullet Club will defend their IWGP Tag Team Championships against.

Don’t miss GLOBAL WARS as Ring of Honor and New Japan present the event live on iPPV from Toronto, Canada on May 10th! ROH and New Japan will also present WAR OF THE WORLDS live on iPPV from the sold-out Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on May 17!

Its taken a long time, but finally he's back!

Another guy TNA failed to properly push = another victory for ROH and indy fans. Now we can actually watch him wrestle decent matches again.

ROH and NJPW teaming up makes me happy, I had heard about this but haven't looked much into it. Is this their first co-promotional show? Who else has been announced?

I demand Tanahashi, Nakamura, Ishii, Okada, Goto, and Naito.

Imagine Elgin vs. Ishii? The intensity would rip a hole in the space-time continuum.

Nevermind, just found the card myself. They're kind of wasting Tanahashi, Nakamura, and Okada in those tag matches. You'd think you'd want to book your main eventers against their main eventers in singles matches. Also, why the fuck is Takaaki Watanabe on this show facing Elgin? The fuck? That's like having a WWE-TNA interpromotional show and booking Randy Orton against Shark Boy.

That's cool for indy fans, he's a pretty fun guy to watch.

But his face on that poster reeks of short bus and licking windows.

I definitely need to start watching ROH.

Also who had the blonde bit in their hair first Alex Shelley or Seth Rollins??

It doesn't happen often, but we agree on this. Alex Shelley, when doing his work with Kevin Nash (and I think the camera thing was part of that), was one of the more entertaining things in TNA. I don't know how his in-ring mic work is, but he definitely should have gotten more time in pre-taped promos because he was doing entertaining stuff which could have gotten him even more over.

His pre-TNA work in ROH included some pretty good promos. Nothing groundbreaking but the guy has always been entertaining. This is his first big North American appearance since 2011. Can't wait for this, dude is going to get such a great reaction.

I think the first time I saw it was on Cruella De Ville, but that probably wouldn't be the first time it's been done.

You're talking about Paparazzi Productions, most of which can be found on YouTube (TNA, thankfully, doesn't even delete their ancient stuff). I'm searching for the good stuff right now. Christ, that was eight years ago.

This one's alright:

"Well, wouldn't it be an inspirational story if someone with chlamydia won this event, huh?"
