“Because in life there are winners, there are losers…”
Those were the distinctive words uttered by WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel at the start of every edition of “The Dirt Sheet,” hosted by Intercontinental Champion John Morrison. (WATCH)
Clearly, Morrison has been one of life’s “winners” as of late. The Friday Night Delight enjoyed a career-changing win over Rey Mysterio on SmackDown to capture Intercontinental gold. (PHOTOS) And, The Guru of Greatness is now host of yet another video special, “The Palace of Wisdom.” (WATCH)
Although tempting for those in the WWE Universe who dislike him, it would be inaccurate to put Dolph Ziggler in life’s “loser” column. The youngster has shown serious passion in 2009.
At both SummerSlam (PHOTOS) and Night of Champions (PHOTOS), Ziggler gave Mysterio a serious run for his money, improving his game each time.
Now, a frustrated Ziggler is chomping at the bit to claim what he feels is rightfully his, while cool Mr. Morrison enjoys his time at the top, mocking “Mr. Ziggles” whenever the opportunity arises.
Come Hell in a Cell, both of these cocky young Superstars will collide in what has the makings for a classic encounter.
Will Morrison keep what he took from Mysterio in what he called one of his greatest matches ever? Or, will the fired up Ziggler finally get what he has been scratching and clawing for?
Find out who will walk away Intercontinental Champion at Hell in a Cell, live on pay-per-view on Sun., Oct. 4 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT.
I dont see Morrison losing the IC title so soon after winning it, so Morrison wins, probably by DQ
