HBK To Smackdown In 2004

This needed to happen so bad. Smackdown was terrible. Undertaker was Undertaker and Booker T was Booker T. Angle was injured and Big Show was doing lord knows what. JBL seemed to be boring everybody and I wished they would have developed his character more before they put the strap on him. Even Eddie lost his luster after the title change. Michaels would have been a nice addition and Raw wasn't going to be hindered that much. You still had HHH, Orton, Benoit, Jericho, Christian, Kane, and Edge.

Smackdown in 2004 could have been worse than Raw in 2003 and that's saying a lot.

Smackdown 2004 had potential but it just felt so weird, you had Eddie Guerrero, Taker was there, JBL was turning into a very good heel, Rey was there, RVD was there, Cena was becoming a very over face. But it still just fell through.

Raw...Smackdown. Its all the same. In my eyes WWE failed in trying to make two separate "brands." When they bought out WCW they should have kept Nitro and not changed a thing. The invasion angle would have been ALOT better and more realistic.

Now with the "Supershows" the brand split is Dead. They need to unify the world titles creating one champion and having one real show.

If they do a draft this year I will fuckin laugh.

If I remember correctly, I think HBK wasn't doing Smackdown because he had some church or something on Wednesday (hence why he did a total of like 2 Smackdowns after he came back in 2002). Smackdown was taped on Tuesdays and he wouldn't be able to make it home for Wednesday.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that was the case.

Before 2009 I don't remember him doing any SD's.

Yup. He couldn't have done SD due to his church-related schedule.

They get more mileage from having two World Championships because it's a system that allows them to give big two large pushes to two guys, instead of having one belt and having one Championship push. At times through the years each title, WWE and World Heavyweight have had more prestige and spotlight than the other, when they first introduced the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Triple H made that belt mean a lot. It still means a bit today but it's sinking behind the WWE Championship. Even though the best feud of 2011 in-terms of a title was over the World Heavyweight Championship.

And yes, there is a schedule draft. I believe the next three hour edition of RAW, schedule within the next two months is the draft.

One can defend Hunter's first reign till WM 19.

But a draft THIS year is a laugh.

Chris Benoit should never have left Smackdown to begin with. His feud was with Heyman and Lesnar. Made no sense, other then shock value, to go to Raw.

The subtlety is gone. HHH lost to HBK at survivor series and regained the title at Armageddon. So at 19 he was in world title reign number 2.
