Has WWE ever been worse

So hear me out. This isn't your typical "WWE sucks and I can't explain why" thread. But honestly, the majority of us can agree that the product is terrible atm, right? And sure, it hasn't always been good, but when reading stuff like the company throwing together storylines and not planning Smackdown properly (todays report), them punishing talent buy publicly embarrassing them on live TV, all these agendas and angles (like the Daniel Bryan push-depush) and wrestlers like Dolph Ziggler being buried for one or two remarks, has WWE ever been worse?

It just feels like everything they do is wrong, and the company's run by children. Honestly, that's how it feels. The constanct plugs for the app, stupid stuff like the muppets and farting gimmicks and overall just a shockingly awful product. Not even PPV's are getting builds anymore. The only good thing about WWE right now is the actual wrestling, but with no storylines, doesn't it make the matches kinda dull?

So my question to you is, has WWE ever been worse than it is right now? I don't think it has.

Yes, it's been much worse, and No, I really don't want to hear you out because you've apparently got no perspective on the WWE.

I'll tell you a time when the WWE was worse: Last year at this time. Nobody was receiving any pushes. We were counting time til Royal Rumble when the Rock would take the title from CM Punk. Our TLC main events were Cena Vs. Ziggler and the Shield Vs. Ryback, Kane and Bryan.

If you want a time when things were REALLY bad, go check out the WWF circa 1994/1995. That'll give you some perspective.

You can really start with 1993 here to be honest. Look at the 1993 Royal Rumble for example.

I loved 90s wrestling because I was a kid at the time and that's what I grew up with but looking back on that time period compared to some others and it was pretty bad. I'm not saying I won't still go back and watch it because I do but it's hard to make a case of that period being better than today's product.

Today's WWE isn't very good either. I won't deny that but that other time period mentioned was definitely just as bad if not worse.
