It is 3:44 am EST and I am up and drinking...coffee...but getting ready for a 5:00 am train to hit New York City for 17 hours of Irish debauchery, including beer, whiskey, potatoes, and great music - as well as the parade. I LIVE for this day. So, what's everyone else doing for St. Pats?

My black side of me says this is just another day to drink beer like sunday, but the irish in me that fuck my great great grandmother is saying "Irish eyes are calling." I'm going to go to class, take a test in my night class, go the store, get a couple beers and watch the last hour of raw drunk out of my mind.

Technically it was on Saturday, due to St. Patties falling inside of Holy Week. Im being completely serious here.

I thought Holy week began yesterday with Palm Sunday.

yeah it does. Therefore St. Patties falls in Holy Week this week. Thereby meaning that it has to be moved to another day officially by the church. This only happens once every 90 years or so though it was moved in 1940 or something. But here is another fun fact Easter can only be one day earlier in the year than what it is this year and that happens once every 500 years.
