Guilty Pleasure's

There has been some absolute shit gimmick's, match's etc in the history of wrestling. Have you got ant that are really embarrasing? Dont just list.

One Man Gang/Akeem: He was a terrible wrestler but I loved him. The Two Tower's are one of the greatest tag team's of all time. He used to blow up after about a minute.

Survivor Series 1990:
Like most of the WWE's PPV's in the late 80' early 90's this was shit. But It's one of my personal favorite's. It's got the debut of The Undertaker. It's got pretty much all of the classic superstar's from the 80's involved and it was the beginning of a new era in a way. The Gobbledygooker also made his debut. Brilliant gimmick.

lol, LONG LIVE THE GOBBLEDYGOOKER!

My personal favorite gulity pleasure was the Al Snow and Big Bossman feud from late 99. Nothing is cheesier or better than the Kennel in a Cell match, not to mention when Bossman made Snow eat Pepper?! Classic stuff.

Also, I always loved the Goldust and Blue Meanie feud, those guys put on matches so godawful bad that they were bound to entertain you to the fullest.

Damn good idea for a thread mate.

Thank's. I thought it was going to end up not getting any post's in it.

I dont think there's anything better than a real good match other than absolute shit.

The Al Snow/Boss Man feud was great. And I was always a fan of Goldust. I thought he was really creepy. I loved his feud with Taker in 1996.

The Katie Vick storyline is absolute shit. But it's another guilty pleasure of mine. You would be hard pressed to think up a more rediculous storyline. And I love the outrage it caused.

I used to love the J.O.B Squad. Man were they underused, haha.

Especially Gillberg. When he used to come out with the rest of the J.O.B. Squad holding mini fireworks, that was hilarious!

His grunts were hilarious!

Gillberg might be the greatest guilty pleasure of all time. I used to crack up watching that because I can't stand Bill Goldberg. Gillberg looked more threatening then "Da' Man"

In my opinion the worst storyline ever involved two superb wrestlers who were/are far better than the storyline they were involved in.

I am referring to the storyline involving the late great Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio and the battle over custody of Dominick. Involving Rey's actual son in the story was bad enough, as he was a pretty young child, but having him at ringside or even in the ring was even worse. Thank God they ended the story and had time to turn Eddie face again before his untimely passing; what an awful last memory of an otherwise great and classy wrestler.

Honourable mention goes to:

Katie Vick.

Boogeyman. Made worse by adding a little Boogeyman. Made even worse again by having them fight Finlay and the Little Bastard.

Shelton Benjamin and his momma. Thank God this was short-lived. He is too good a wrestler to be involved in crap like this.

Spirit Squad. Especially having 5 guys own a two person tag team title. Yes, as heels they cheated to win, but you can't reward them for this by having 5 guys all called champs, with a different two guys wrestling on different nights to defend it. Stupid.

Nation of Domination and the racial storyline involving the Harts. Too taboo even for the surreal world of the WWE.

Hmm i got to really thinking about this thing, and I think maybe the most tasteless, yet completly hilarious story line that I just loved was the Big Show vs. the Big Bossman.

I laughed my ass off when Show is chasing Bossman as he's driving off dragging he "Dead" Dad's casket. Then show with the over emotional Ttile win at Survivor Series and selling the dad storyline, priceless.
"Big Show, you're a Big Nasty Bastard, and your Momma Said so"
Man the Bossman had some really out their stories in 99. Pepper/Al Snow, plus Big Show/Dead Dad.

Katie Vick will always have a special place in my heart, lol..or my toilet...but another one that ranks right up there was the Austin/Pillman home invasion, not to mention the entire Isaac Yankem DDS gimmick..eesh, poor Kane.

dude i will straight up admit i thoroughly enjoyed the paul burchill pirate gimmick lol....yea the rey mysterios vs guerrero for dominick was terrible, althought when dominic comes into the ring and tries to shake the ladder to stop guerrero from winning, it probably one of the funniest things ive ever seen on wrestleing...i also absolutely hated the kurt angle pervert angle when he was being a sicko about sharmelll....SUCH talented guys and THIS is what they come up with???? funny thing is, people would STILL cheer for kurt with a rapist gimmick, becuase he was just that damn good lol....and yea dude, jake, akeem was friggin HILARIOUS...akeem the african dream and slick??? that is CLASSIC stuff lol....

Pirate Paul Burchill, is one, it was a change that made it interesting. The ReDX promos are another guilty pleasure, you just have to look at some of the stuff and it is funny, even though the DX stand back thing has been done before check out my Wrestler of the Week in the Chris Jericho promo section. But the whole locked out of RAW episode was hilarious in regards to ReDX, also that one in South Carolina I think with the Im the Game and thats the Cock line by Triple H, There is also those baby photos that DX showed it was funny with what Shawn was doing when he said that the baby looked familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it while he was tapping Trips on his shoulder with a finger.

The DX thing was ****ing hilarious IMO. I wasn't supposed to laugh, but I couldn't help it. It was just funny. Not as good as the old DX of course. The Game-Cock line was funny as hell. Shawn wasn't that funny but I wasn't expecting that to happen. The DX-Diva thing was pretty funny as well. When they did the thing with Maria,

''Maybe you need a visual aid'' LOL.

and ''Ladies, I don't know if you've heard of us, we're D-Generation X. We've been...''

And last but not least, when they showed the pic of Shawn posing for Playgirl and when they said Orton was the most searched name in the gay community. Classic.
