"Guilty Pleasures"?

Johnny Scumm

You know that music, the stuff you listen to, but would never admit to anyone else you do?

Let's hear it.

This one is Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne. Definitely not something I'd usually listen to and I know I'd get stick from people for listening to it, but since playing Burnout: Paradise, I quite like this song.

I'll post more gradually, have you got any??

I feel this video demonstrates how somebody can be simultaneously punchable and fuckable quite adequately:

Edit: "I'm a gypsy. I might steal your clothes and wear them if they fit me." She ain't fuckin' lying.

What....What's a guilty pleasure? Seriously, I've been known to dance around at work while the Corrs were playing on the radio.

A "Guilty Pleasure"

Say, I'm known for my love of Heavy Metal & Hard Rock.

However, a bit of Black Eyed Peas (1st Album Only), you know, when they were good, wouldn't go amiss.

See, I don't get the "guilty pleasure" portion of it. I see what you're driving at, but if you like something, why feel "guilty" about it? I, too, am a lover of metal, as most would tell you. But, those who have me on Facebook will see me posting 90's pop/rock (Duncan Sheik, Tal Bachman, The Corrs, etc.)

That said, I guess the closest thing I have to "guilty pleasure" would be either Aqua or The Cardigans.

Yeah, Aqua's pretty guilty.

I suppose it's not like, feeling guilty about it, but more like something that NOBODY would expect you to listen to. They're just known as guilty pleasures, I guess.

"My Heart will go on" - Celine Dion. It's the first song I heard that I fully remember.

I have no guilty pleasures, if I am honest with you. I like the music that I like and that's all. If people decide to frown upon those choices, then that's there problem.

As much as I hate Lil' Wayne, I jam to his version of Ice Cream Paint Job just because I love the beat and the lyrics are just catchy. And Steady Mobbin' truly annoys me, but it gets me pumped when shooting ball.

Also, Will Smith is something I know I probably shouldn't like but I do. And Zack Ryder's theme.

None. I dont care if people look down on me because I enjoy Eisley, Imogen Heap, and Regina Spektor, especially to go to sleep to. I dont know why I would feel guilty or embarrased over something I enjoy. Honestly, its not my issue if someone thinks less of me a result, its squarely on them.

Yeah, I gotta admit I'm a bit too open about the things I enjoy and love in life. Music or anything else. I have no guilty pleasures, because I'm up front about all I enjoy.

But I suppose if anything needs posted.. you can take this one.

I will jam the SHIT out of that song. All day and night long if need be.

Pretty much this. I'll openly listen to anything that I like. James Blunt, Disney music, sometimes even Britney Spears will get playtime from me.

I'm not sure I have anything in my music collection that others would look down on me for. I have songs from Chris Daughty and despite the amount of hate this band generates I actually have all the Nickelback albums (borrowed from a friend and ripped them onto my computer,I do not own)they have some good songs. I did download the entire Digimon the Movie soundtrack the other day, I guess that counts but to be fair it has some good tunes on it.

There, that is a guilty pleasure of mine.

However, it is actually a decent song and not cheesy like the the "MMMBop" style early Hanson tracks, even though it is from around the same time.

Of the two it would have to be Aqua. There's no shame in liking The Cardigans, even if the lead singer is incredibly dull at live gigs.

Oh dear, I used to love Hanson as an idiot child, in fact I probably still know all the words to Mmmbop. Damn.

As far as guilty pleasures now, can you call 80's power cheese a guilty pleasure? If not I guess it'd have to be these guys...

Yeah, I don't understand a word of Japanese but these guys rock the clit.

In fact fuck it, no, I'm not ashamed of any of my musical tastes.
