I saw Grown Ups yesterday and thought it was hilarious. I can't say much without posting spoilers, so I'll let other posters put them in.

Otherwise, I thought that Grown Ups was a fast-made movie from Summer Vacation which turned out to be one of the funniest Happy Madison Quintet (Kevin James, Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade) movies of all time. The comedy was just hilarious, and some of the "stunts" they did nearly made me choke on a kernel of popcorn.

What are your thoughts?

So far the best comedy of this year. It was great and the movie seemed so natural and realistic even though it had some very unreal stuff. Fun movie to watch and really makes you wonder about how the younger generation is being raised and they miss out on. Gotta love playing some Arrow Roulette. The guys play very good, natural roles and probably what made me like the movie so much. And of course their ridiculous pranks. Also liked the Hulk Hogan mention at the beginning, but they should've plugged TNA as well.;)

Basic story. Formulaic even. At first I was appalled at the editing. It was as if they left in all the wrong/worst takes of the first 15 min. Then I realized the whole film was just an excuse to have a studio pay for these guys' vacation on location and to watch the cast of 90's SNL (and Kevin James) shoot one-liners back and forth at each other, in what looked to be mostly unscripted/loosely scripted semi-improv. Upon said conclusion I was fine with the film and even enjoyed it a bit.

I'm thinking about taking my date to see it. I have not once heard: "What you see in the commercial is the best part of the movie." In my book, that is a winner.

I've been a huge fan of Sandler for ages now, and the rest of the cast seems pretty fit for the job. I love ******ed comedy movies,so I'm guessing this will be right up my alley. :)

This had to be my favorite comedy of the year. But when you look at the cast its not hard to tell why (Kevin James, Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade). It had its very funny moments that you couldn't help but to laugh and then its stupid but funny moments overall this movie was my favorite comedy of 2010 and i really enjoyed the movie.

I've always been a fan of Adam Sandler and each time i watch him he seems to get funnier by the movie. Comedy has been my favorite type of movie for along time and as grownups stand this will be one of my favorite comedys for a long time :)

I went last week and saw Grown Ups. I first thought that it was going to just be a giant cluster of a movie. It has 5 of the biggest names in comedy and I just didn't expect that the film would be able to graciously even them all out. But I was so wrong. Yes its a bunch of one liners but you enjoy how they react to each other and how they react to the others lives.

I hope I'm not stepping out of line here but I would put this movie right up there with The Hangover, just not as raunchy. I mean I really haven't laughed as hard as I did when I saw Grown Ups since I saw Hangover.

Grown Ups is one of the funniest movies I've seen this year, along with Hot Tub Time Machine. It kind of surprised me, too. I thought that I was going to enjoy it, but I didn't think I was going to laugh as much as I did. Pretty much from start to finish I was cracking up. It isn't a technical masterpiece, but its not supposed to be. Grown Ups is meant for people to go and have a good time for two hours while people on the screen go through the same stuff we go through, only more exagerated. I think Rob Schneider absolutely stole the show. Pretty much everything he did was hilarious. So all in all, I thought that Grown Ups is one of the funniest movies this year.

I saw this the other night, it was very funny, i enjoyed it, and it wasn't too rude and crude but had the right amount of rude and crude, the cast was very good, plus the on going "milk" lines were hilarious. Grown Ups is a good comedy and a nice ending too.

I loved this movie. It was very, very funny. The rivalry between the two teams was childish and hilarious. Tim Meadows and Steve Buscemi made me laugh every time they were on the screen. I thought this movie would have shown all of the good parts in the trailer, but practically the whole trailer was was shown during the first 20 minutes. I would recommend really anyone to see this movie.

I just went out and saw this yesterday, I'm not much of a laugher especially with TV or Movies, but this movie made me legit laugh a little. And the actors for this were perfect, I lover Chris Rock. This was you should probably go out and see. Comedy of the year nominee and maybe winner. I give it a A-

I went to see this movie a couple of days ago and thought it was fucking hilarious!

It is an important note that most of the reviewers are slating this movie as being too flat and boring without any real direction and it is just another reason why I don’t take any written review of something seriously until I see it for myself. Seriously, this movie has been slated all over the internet and beyond and I certainly can’t understand it. I thought it was hilariously funny and all of the characters played their parts to perfection. It was such a naïve and quick-witted comedy that it captured my imagination and I really latched onto the movie as a whole.

Grown Ups reminded me a lot of Without A Paddle and I don’t think that is a bad thing entirely since Without A Paddle is one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in a long time. Did it lack direction at times? Yes it did. Did it suffer because of it? No it didn’t.

To me, the cast and personas in this movie made it what it was and that is 100 minutes of pure innocent fun. Critics can say what they want but they are looking at this movie too hard and really missing the point of it entirely. It’s not supposed to win Oscars or be heralded as the next Godfather movie in terms of impact on cinema. It is supposed to be a fun movie for the people who enjoy these sorts of movies and I think it has accomplished what it set out to do.

I am very happy with spending my money to see it anyway and would recommend it to anyone who just wants an innocent comedy to laugh at this summer.

The whole running joke about the kid and the tits was hilarious, and the fact i saw kids in the cinema being allowed to watch something this is strange but hey im no parent, the movie was funny and had a good dose of humour, and each actor is a well known comedian and are veterans in film and tv. I tend not to listen to critics as sometimes they ruin a movie for people.
