Does anyone think he has the potential to be a main event player?

Personally I think he's got the look and the charisma to work a headline feud, all he need's is a decent mid card feudto get him on the right patch.

His size should'nt be a problem as the Cruiserweight champion he's bigger than the former World Heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio.

His past as The Hurricane should'nt be a problem either as many superstars have started out with stupid gimmicks ie. Batista/Deacon Batista, Kane/Issac Yankem, Steve Austin/The Ringmaster. I know there not as stupid as The Hurricane but he's only been Gregory Helms since December and The Hurricane is nearly forgotten.

What's everyones oppinion.

he needs to get a few good feuds before he even gets considered for a main event spot, Rey Mysterio had a feud with the late Eddie G thats one of the reasons he was pushed. Taken Helms is a good wrestler but there are up and coming superstars with better skills then him i.e. Lashley taken Lashley dosen't have much charisma IMO but as the old saying goes actions speak louder then words. If half of the cruiserweights wearn't part of a tag team now then he could have some good feuds. he really needs to get some good heel heat to make the bookers think he's good enough for a main event push

You are sick. This 3 count guy is a joke WWE is getting to be a joke with the WWE championship and the world title. I guess it does not matter how much you weigh or the dues you have paid.
Look at Piper, Hall, Hennig, and even Jarrett
All of these guys paid HUGE dues to WWF and wrestling in general and look what came out of it? I know JJ got the title in WCW and NWA but the point is WWF would rather give a guy the title with a very stupid gimick (undertaker, kane, than guys with better tallent and mic skills)

Between 93-01 I held the IC title higher than the world just for the simple fact of who the champions were. But now in WWE ALL champs except for show are shit! Show is not ECW either and thats just stupid having him on there.

What I am trying to say is let him have the world title because it has already been ruined!! WWE title has went down hill with every belt style see wikipedia.org but the biggest gap is between the undisputed title and the spinner!

Looked like they might set up a fued between Helms & Hardy seeing how Helms got involved last Smackdown & cost Hardy the match against Kennedy. that'll give'm a pretty good fued, they even mentioned how they both came from the same area in Carolina or something like that.
