1) Road Warriors will always and forever be the greatest.
2) Midnight Express Stan Lane and Bobby Eaton, these guys were brilliant and the only reason I don't rank them as #1 is because they were only big in the NWA/WCW. Where as the Road Warriors were dominate all around the world, no matter then promotion, no matter the era.
3) The Fabulous Freebirds, they actually changed the whole landscape of tag team wrestling and wrestling overall in some aspects. Again they suffer from being big only in the southern states and Texas territories.
Never before, never again. Great tagline. And I actually really enjoyed it too.
My favourite tag team of all time is probably Beer Money. I loved the gimmick Beer Money had and what I liked about them was that both were great in the ring and on the mic which is rare for a tag team. Usually tag teams are made to hide weaknesses between the two guys. At first I really thought Beer Money had broken the "Janetty Syndrome" with both being big time players on the top of the roster. Just a shame Storm fell from his main event pedestal.
