Graphics Half-Mod?

I know I've inquired about this before, but I think it's time to inquire again.

Could there be room for a graphics mod? Hell, even a half-mod, doesn't even need a bold name.

The graphics section gets a lot of traffic. With five active sigmakers (Theo, Robert, Dave, DN, and myself), plus contests being run and people making requests, I think one is needed.

Topics are in the wrong place, and things need to be stickied, unstickied, and deleted. There's a bit of work to be done and if I hadn't just said that, I doubt you would have noticed.

So, I'm just asking if you think one could be useful.

I am sure they could just make Phoenix the mod there, he makes some of the better sigs on the forum and already is a mod.

Given Doc's request and I do most of what he wants (moving threads) in WZCW, I don't mind helping out in the graphics section if Admin feel happy with it.

Agree. Phoenix is already a mod and if we get one in the Graphics forum, it would make sense for it to be him.

Yea ya do Phoenix, we miss you and your awesome work in the Palace of Sigdom.

And I completely forgot about the competition. There were some great entries. Hopefully FFoF doesn't forget and gets us a champion.

If you really want one, Phoenix is your man. If you really want one, but the admins don't see it fit to garner a mod there, do what Xfear said. Report it to the mods, and they'll handle it. PM would work fine as well, I'm sure.

List of things that would be good:

Move "Gaijin Graphics" to the Showcase Hall
Sticky "The Photoshop Sig-Making Tips, Tricks, and Guides Thread"
Delete all the old "Ask [insert name here] for a sig" threads, to prevent confusion, as none of them are active anymore and a healthy chunk of them have been bant. Now they were just being used by obiwansidisi to post-****e.
Bring back the Competitions subforum and put the Sig-Making Battle Royale, Doc vs. Dave, Theo Mays vs. DigitalNight, and Monthly Competition - Interest? threads in there.
Move "This is your admin speaking" to Requests.
Move various other threads to Requests or Showcase Hall, depending on where they go.
Delete the Moved: "Merge" thread, as it's just cluttering things up.
The avatar threads could probably be deleted as well, as they are no longer useful.

The main section can be used for tutorials and the like.

Cleaning up is needed and it'd get kinda annoying if I kept reporting stuff.

All of those are done, I've cleaned that section up quite a bit. The subforum probably will not be coming back though, we've been cutting down on the amount of subforums on here as there are simply far too many.

Yeah I don't see the need for a mod here. Just report stuff. it takes all of 20 seconds to fix things.
