I've never really been a fan of tribal tats, they just look like some pointless random design with no history or story behind them, it seems like most of the people who get tribal shit done, just do it cause they want a tatoo, and can't think of what they really want a tattoo of so they go with the tribal shit, cause "it looks cool"
I agree with that for the most part. I do like Tomko's tats. I almost feel like it's a part of him not just some flash he saw at the shop. Umaga also has some cool tribal things. But usually plain black tribal is very boring.

There are always exceptions, for example I have a friend who's younger brother died a few years ago, and as a memorial to his brother he got a tribal piece done on his arm with his brothers year of birth and year of death, I've always thought that was pretty cool, sad but pretty cool
Aww, that's sad but sweet. Any tattoo is nice if it has meaning to it. All of mine (with the exception of 1) represent my favorite things, so they are meaningful. Hell, maybe Goldberg's little arm band has some special meaning to it. Never know.
