Right before Daddy Mack was about to officially announce his retirement from the squared circle, a mysterious man known only as Acutus interrupted the veteran’s speech and claimed he will usher in a new era into WZCW, degrading Daddy Mack and all of his accomplishments. The Mack Attack has set an open challenge to the new-comer at Gold Rush for what will be his final match of his career, looking to go out on a high note and teach this young whipper-snapper a lesson in respect.

Will Mack ride off into the sunset, still the gunslinger he once was or will Acutus’ debut shock the world and show his prophecy to be more than just empty words?

Special Gold Rush PPV Deadline is Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:59 PM (Central Time). Extensions are available upon request.

Grainy black and white footage of a wrestling match from the distant past. White lettering across the screen reads: 'IDAHO CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING'. A commentator begins to speak.

Commentator: Good evening, you join us here on KTVT-TV from Boise, Idaho for Idaho Championship Wrestling's premier televisual event.
Tonight we bring you all of the action from the ring, with myself John Almond.
At the top of the show we will see our champion Richard Williams take on the Soviet Superstar Yakov Destroyovich for the Idaho World Heavyweight Championship. We will also take in some Junior Heavyweight action. However, we begin with this encounter between the veteran Jack Rawley and the young Mack McCoist making his televised debut here on KTVT.

The two wrestlers lock up. Mack shows his superior strength and twists Rawley's arm behind his back into a hammer lock. He holds this hold for a while until twisting his arm to the point that Rawley goes down on to the ground.

John Almond: The youngster showing his strength there.

The two exchange holds on the ground for a while. The veteran uses his wily knowledge to escape from holds whereas Mack is using brute strength. Eventually they get to their feet. Mack hits a dropkick.

John Almond: Again, the young man shows that his physical traits are far superior to those of his opponent. He is quick off his feet.

Mack irish whips Rawley into the ropes. He bounces back, and Mack looks to level him with a stiff arm, however the move is telegraphed, and Rawley ducks Mack's arm before bouncing off the opposite rope and levelling the debutant and getting a two count.

John Almond: Rawley using his experience there to avoid the young man's onslaught.

Mack is back on his feet and hits a few punches to Rawley. He lifts him up for the Big Mack. After hitting he climbs to the second rope to hit the Mack Attack, and connects, he goes for the pin and is successful.

John Almond: A fine win for young Mack McCoist there, in what was the first of what I'm sure will be many wins here on Idaho Championship Wrestling. Now for some messages from our sponsors.

We cut back to the present. Daddy Mack is in what is clearly his own home in a room with a large television. Mack sits in a high backed arm chair with a fire in a fireplace quietly burning its way through some logs behind him.

Daddy Mack: This was my first ever televised match. I knew I was stronger than Rawley, he had been wrestling for years and his speed had left him aside too. But the thing is, while I knew that he had seen his best days, he was still far more experienced than me and could still catch me by surprise. I guess it was always a threat. The difference between myself and some of these young kids today is that they don't respect the fact that the old timers have seen it before and have the experience. Notice how I didn't pose to the audience or taunt Rawley before the Mack Attack - I knew if I did he'd have time to recover.

You see, I've had the opportunity to reflect over the last month about all that has passed. Yeah, I lost my title pretty decisively, but you know, I was blindsided. In a fair fight, I know I could and would have beaten Miss Taylor. I started this run in this company saying if I was over the hill or past it, I'd retire. But you know what, I was wrong. I'm not struggling to keep up with these young 'uns at all. Because every day I spend in this business gives me more experience, more knowhow, more intelligence to overcome the physical traits that have passed me by. I'm not weaker than I was, but stronger than I was. This Sunday, I retire, but I'll be retiring knowing that at that point I'll be the best wrestler I've ever been.

The thing with respect is you don't earn it unless you have it for the people you're looking to earn it from. Acutus showed that he had absolutely no respect for me when he interrupted my farewell, but also no respect for the fans, my fans, who wished to wave me goodbye. Acutus behaved in a manner that suited him in order to try and get one up on old Daddy Mack.

The reality of it is much more simple than that. You see, I've been here in this business long enough to know have seen hundreds of guys like him trying to make a statement. The thing is a statement is exactly that - one statement. A sentence, a flash in the pan. I've never been one to make statements, but I've been writing books. I don't need to make a single statement when I have a library of experience and success to draw on. So yeah, I'm not worried about Acutus.

Am I worried about retiring? Sure. This business has been a home to me and my family for as long as I can remember, and I need to go out there and show it what it means to me. Given I'm retiring straight after this match, whatever its result, I know that I'm going out with my head held high and hopefully, win lose or draw I'll be able to beat a bit of respect into Acutus.

To my Mack Pack, there'll be one more Attack.

Thank you all for the time you've given me and the opportunities presented to me. An old fool like me has been enamoured with the responses from a modern audience, and to win the Eurasian title was a dream come true. So farewell WZCW Universe and thanks for the memories. I've just got to do one more thing before I leave and that is to humble young Acutus.
