Going To A Ring Of Honor Show

If I went to that, I'd be trying to pick out who's getting a WWE contract after all the ROH guys had their trials. Make a game out of it.

Have fun, it cannot be that bad. At least ROH fans are loud and generally a good crowd. Enjoy it, KB.

I've heard. If nothing else it takes away the argument of "You've never been so you can't say that". That means I'm helping ROH fans think as they'll have another 19,583 reasons why my opinion on ROH is wrong.

Sounds fun and, yes, a ladder match in real life must be awesome to watch. Especially with them dudes in ROH.

$32.50 is a great price for a roster that well stacked.

I went to BFG this year for 5 dollars (That I regret, except for the Styles match). Holy crap how is ROH charging more?

Without having numbers in front of me, I wouldn't be surprised if ROH regularly outdraws TNA in attendance.

The ROH fanbase is by far a much more loyal fanbase than the TNA fanbase.

TNA is running a house show about 90 mins. down the road from where I live tomorrow night, I just checked & ringside seats are still available, that's kinda sad.

I just don't get where their television numbers come from when attendance is this bad. Are they just not running in the right places?

Spoiler: they don't unless you scew the data.

TNA run far more live events than RoH over a wider area and will less grass roots promotion. Hence the presence of events with lower turnout. They also frequently run events with significantly higher turnout - that's what happens when you have a larger sample size.

The house show they're doing close to me tonight, is a venue that hosted RAW at one point in the past year or so, it's an arena with a seating capacity of 10,000...& they're using it for a house show. This same company had noticeable problems filling seats for Lockdown, a major PPV that was being held in an arena that seats 8,000. I think TNA just thinks they're bigger than what they actually are right now.

It should be noted I'm just clicking the "best available" button when I checking, so tickets for other sections could be selling better for all I know, I assume if families are going they'd rather pay for tickets to a cheaper section than shell out $62 a ticket to sit ringside.

I've been to multiple ROH shows, including the recent Flying High show in Dayton, which had about 800 I'd guess. That's the tpyical ROH size crowd I'm used to, 600-900.

I've been to TNA shows of all sizes, from as low as 500-600ish to a PPV with over 5,000 in the stands. The amount of events TNA runs of varying importance in various sized venue creates a large skew in the level to which their shows draw.

As for KB going to SCOH VIII. Have fun brother, the show looks LOADED with great match-ups.

Aside from Ladder War V, which should brutal and chaotic fun, Steen vs. Elgin for a shot at the IWGP heavyweight title, and Roderick vs. Cedric should both be awesome. The three way tag match could be great too, Hanson and Rowe have a lot of upside as a team.

Hopefully this will show KB how much momentum the product has right now and get him to check out the TV show again, as it has been making vast improvements since late last year.

I watched an episode back in January. I wasn't blown away but it didn't make me mad like the original ones did.

Fair play, hope you legit enjoy. If it's anything you're guaranteed on paper three good to great matches, Ladder War, Alexander vs. Strong and Lethal vs. Ciampa in 2 Out of 3 Falls. I'd advise you watch this weeks episode of TV too, Styles vs. Michael Elgin.

Oh and this hasn't been announced yet, but Jim Ross will be there as a sponsored guest of ROH's, so if you go early you might be able to meet him.
