Give us CLB sometime soon please

For those that don't know, CLB stands for creepy little bastard and was a nickname given to Christian by the fans back when he was heel before leaving for TNA. When Christian left it was, along with Angle, the most dissapointing loss WWE suffered in years in my opinion. Whilst Christian was the cowardly heel, even though I wasn't meant to, I found him extremely entertaining, he's obviously a funny, witty guy in general but in the CLB role he had a certain amount of space to work and he ran with it, check out some of his promos and interviews to see what I mean, especially ones involving the rock.

I'm one of those people that wants to see him as world champ and as it stands, as a face he seems to be on his way to it and that's fine. In my opinion however Christian really shines as a heel and could be the best main event heel in the business in a few years if given the chance.

Maybe it's the writing team, but he just doesn't entertain me as a face and even as edge was in the middle of a heel turn, the crowd still weren't 100% sure if they should cheer Christian over edge. Don't get me wrong, his pop is big but not main event.

So what I'm asking is, is face Christian winning the world title gonna work if it happens, or should CLB re-appear sometime soon?

I agree with you that he's great as a heel, but I'd like to see him stay face. I think that it's a lot easier to get over as a heel; we've seen a lot of guys get really stale after turning face (MVP, Morrison, Matt Hardy etc.). Christian, on the other hand, at least to me, is a lot less stale/annoyingly 'goody goody' than other faces.

So as a means to keep a few not-annoying good guys on hand, I'd keep him a face for now.

While Christian is a great heel, he's also a great face, and he's played the heel for far too long in his career so no I really can't agree with you here man, the last thing I want to see right now is Christian turn heel, and apparently the WWE definitely doesn't want to do it either because they threw away a few months of getting Edge over pretty damn well as a face in order to keep Christian in the face role, when they really didn't have to. Says to me maybe Vince finally is gong to give Christian his due in the main event on Smackdown.

Christian's a great heel, but we've seen him play that role for years and years. Let him continue as a face, he's been very successful during this face run, easily the most successful tenure he's had as a babyface since the days of the Brood.

I'm with X on this one. I would much rather cheer Christian than boo him. He may be an entertaining heel but his face run has worked like a charm, and he is one of the most over people on the roster. I think his current direction is just fine, and keeping him face would also make it possible for him to have a great feud with Swagger, maybe even coming out on top.

Maybe in the future Christian's face run will come to an end, but I don't want it to happen for a very long time.

I have to say i prefer 'heel' Christian as well, but while saying that, i feel that we haven't really had the chance to see what he can really do in his second WWE run. I don't watch TNA, so I'm not really aware of the whole 'Instant Classic' run (I know it happened, i just didn't see any of it). I'd like Christian to stay face for a while and watch him progress, and see if he can get the crowd into a match without having to encourage them to clap.

I personally wanted to see Edge and Christian stay faces and be on the same show. They did not have to be tag team partners but atleast they could be allined with eahother.

Man, i'd love more than anything for them to get back together as a tag team, but they'd have to be heel. The 5 second poses and the whole 'reeking of awesomeness' gimmick they had is probably one of my all time favourite memories of pro wrestling. They are without a shadow of a doubt my favourite tag team of all time.

I think that WWE should have kept Edge on SD so that we could have actually had that E+C fued. Last time they did it Edge was the face and Christian the heel, so i think it would have been interesting to see what they could do with the roles reversed. I'd also like to see Jericho v Christian again, but with the roles reversed.

Plus having Jericho and Edge on the same show both as heels so quickly after their fued has ended, doesn't seem to make a great deal of sense to me. I'm expecting them to win the Unified Tag Titles again within the next 2 months.

After this weeks promo between Edge and Christian, i can safely say that i don't want him to revert back to the Creepy Little Bastard gimmick (which btw, Stone Cold started a good year before Christian left for TNA). I really want to see Christian as a face on SD and if they used him with a prominent ME'er on his first appearance on SD as part of the roster, i think there could only be great things to come, but we'll have to see.
