Give Santino More Mic Time

I'm not sure yet how I feel about him. I don't think he can pull heel that well yet but he does have great mic skills for as new as he is. Sucks in ring tho. Will be interesting to see where the WWE lead him but as long as he makes people laugh, He'll be doing just fine.

I agree he is good on the mic, and it is hard to judge his in-ring performance until he wrestles someone of quality. His promos are funny, and even his facial expressions get me laughing.

Does anyone know if the accent is real? I'm Italian, and my old-world relatives talk that way. The accent is convincing if it is fake.

Also, LMFAO at his theme music. THE MAFIA! LOL

It doesn't matter if Santino is a "5 Star" Worker. He's entertaining as anything else. People will want to see him get his ass beat. I think he's gold. I especially love it when people like Sandman or Val Venis inturrupt him, but he still wont shut up LoL. "Why-a is this person inturrupting me!? I always get inturrupted! Santino is gold on the mic and it would be a crime not to give him more mic time. IMO he is the best talker on raw right now. Like I've said before he reminds me of the rock on the mic or even JBL. His wrestling ability could be better but it doesnt matter look @ khali who cant wrestle and cant say 2 words.....point proven....Santino without a mic is like ashley without her looks a crime against humanity!!? i think?

Personally I think he cant wrestle - He wont get pushed as an IC wrestler, but his mic skills are great, undeniably funny, they tried to make me watch the Condemned and I said a no no no. Great.

I think he should be a manager of a wrestler, if they tweaked him a little, or he could be the bottom level of a faction? Its a shame every face seems to lose on Raw now, if Raw decides to let heels win matches, he could turn out fine.

lol its funny how as a face ppl hated him but as a heel ppl love him, anyway, i gotta say i also hated him as face but hes so funny on mic, and i dont think hes that bad in ring, ive seen some other matches of his and hes got some good moves, though WWE barley lets him wrestle and didnt even give him a finisher so its hard to judge now, his longest match must have been what? 5 min? probably less

if he had a decent opponent, a longer match, and a finisher, then he might impress us all

but if he really is that bad in ring then let him be manager or something, cuz him making fun of ppl can only last a few months b4 it starts getting old...

santion is great on the mic i mean the line where he says i am going to open up a can of the ass whip so big was great i laughed my ass off for 20 mins i think they need to give him a finisher and turn him loose that is part of his problem he has no real finisher and give him a new outfit

Im pretty intrigued with his recent gimmick. I will be the first to admit that I absolutely hated him when he came on. I remember reading the spoiler of that show and absolutely being disgusted. Lately he has shown me alot with entertainment value. He is excellent on the mic and could go far in the WWE in the future.

I saw Santino live at a local house show. he got on the mic for 6 or 7 minutes before his match and I was unaware of how good he had become on the mic. When he started I was literally laughing my ass off!
He did the whole slating of the condemned, told us we all speak funny in the U.K, and general stuff like that but his comic timing was brilliant!!
I used to dread seeing him, now I kinda look forward to seeing him!!

I absolutly love watching this guy.....His promo's are top of the notch and to tell you the truth he is one of the few reasons I still watch RAW...I can not wait until he develops a feud with a active wrestler though...So back to the topic I agree, Santino should get even more mic time!

Santino is amazing on the mic, and cuts some of the best promos around. Put a Mic in his hand and he could be the next Rock. Thats how good he is.

HOWEVER... He has yet to prove anything in the ring. His win loss record is sad, his matches arn't that good, and I don't even remember the last time he fought! I think in the long run, he'll be someone like Matt Striker or Elijah Burke (when he debuted.) He'll manage someone, occasionally have a match, but mostly be used as a mouthpeice.

i love this guy on the mic. His promo with austin this last monday was awesome. He continues to get great reaction with fans. I wish austin could still wrestle because this would be one hell of an entertaining feud. That is what Santino really needs, a good strong feud with someone really established like a hhh or a hbk, someone who the fans have been with throughout the years.

I just hope that after monday night he is not put on the backburner with nothing to do, The Austin thing can only go so far and i think it had ran its course now

He needs to be put in a feud with maybe Jeff Hardy for the IC belt

I have to admitt Santino is one of the main reasons I still watch Raw.

Like prolly 99% of people I thought he was a waste of space when he first debuted and basically his whole tenure, till he turned heel and started doing some EXCELLENT Mic work.

I honestly would like to see Santino end up as more of a mouth piece for a stable. I mean his wrestling skills aren't bad at all, but his mic work is 100 times better. I think Santino on the mic could actually really get over a heel group of midcarders.

My boss and I get into huge conversations about wrestling when we are suppose to be working and he makes fun of me all of the time for being a Santino mark. Then again he always ends up laughing really hard when I bust out with his version of that song Rehab referring to SCSA and his movie. I got in a bit of trouble when a guy that is actually from Italy heard me doing a Santino impersination (he thought I was making fun of him).

Then again I have to admitt, my two favorite guys on mics in prolly the past 5 years are Armando Estrada and Santino Marella.

WWE really needs to push santino into a intercontinental title feud, because it would definitely give him more mic time and it would give him a chance at cutting even funnier promos about people other than stone cold and condemed.

Seeing as reports are saying officials were pleased with Santino on Raw, I could definitely see an IC title push coming up. Or at least a more prominent mid-card push. Logic would dictate this happening, at least. But this is the WWE, after all. No need for logic in this company sometimes.

Exactly, instead of WWE making so many squashes on RAW, they should make more Santino promo's. I mean he delivers in every single one. Also like you said they would do that if WWE is smart, so sadly we will see Snitsky or some other shit on RAW because it gives ratings, because people want to see Snitsky VS. [Jobber name] all the time.

My newbie alarm went off, Santino fan-a-club spring into action!

The reason fans gave a damn about Austin's return was because Santino Marella single-handedly built it up. Marella's hilarious (and accurate) rips on The Condemmed made people want to see Austin show up just to teach Santino a lesson. And Santino never backed down from Austin, then sold the stunner and the beer truck like a seasoned pro.

Marella cuts some of the best promos in the WWE right now as a fun antagonist, and if they pair him with Jericho tonight, there is NO LIMIT to how classic it could be. Not only does Santino need more time on the mic, but he needs it at Pay Per Views too.

I agree with that one, make him manage someone who is useless (snitsky) and gets no pop (snitsky) and is basically a robot (snitsky) and use Snitsky as his personal bodyguard, I only suggest this since Vince seems so keen on pushing the ugliest wrestler since bastion booger so why not make him more accept-able with a bit of Italiano Influence, am I the only one who sees this working?

Just call me Johnny Ace, and give me his salary too please!

Santino is gold. Him, and the Y2J comeback. This is what WWE needs more of. An all around talented guy, with some great skills in the ring and on the mic. Marella's mic work is really something. I loved the in-ring taunting of Lawler. That was pure genius. If this guy doesn't get a push, then the WWE is out of their mind.

Santino's little rants were pretty funny at first but week after week it was getting on my damn nerves his mic work got old very quick for me. Most of you are wondering why he hasn't got much of a push is because his in ring talent is piss poor and he has displayed not one entertaining match to date. WWE needs to get their heads out of their asses why move Shelton to ECW and not Santino? I'm sorry to the people who like him but as of right now I'm not impressed one bit maybe with time he'll get better.
