Give Santino More Mic Time

Anybody see his promo about The Condemned. I thought it was hilarious. I really did. Not only did he tell the truth, but he was funny with it. I know it was scripted. But the delivery of it and the facial expressions were brilliant. I would love to see him get more mic time.

I know a lot of people hate him. But to me they have no real reason to. I cant say I'm a fan. In fact until last night I didn't like him. But then I realised that I've never actually seen a long competative match involving him. How can you judge him if he's basically being portrayed as a jobber? I dont think for a second that he's a great wrestler, but then again he could surprise me.

Well Santino is ok in the ring he has done nothing in the ring that has made me want to see a Santino match, but he is good on the mic. He is really been better on the mic since his heel turn and i think he is playing this new heel role to perfection. But who knows this heel turn is what going to save Santino as he can work the mic as a heel.

Though i still like to see what he can do in the ring with someone that isn't masters, Umaga or him getting squashed. Until then i say let him have his mic time least i can stand him that way as he is quite comical on the mic.

I've been saying this since even before his heel turn. He has charisma on the mic. He has great mic. skills, especially as a heel. His wrestling ability thus far, sucks.. don't let him wrestle a lot, but instead.. give the man a talk show!

Too many "wrestlers" have talk shows, but the ones who can't really wrestle, yet have great mic. skills don't. Santino is a great heel talker, he has that ability. Ever since his gimmick promos with Regal, he's been golden.

Again, I never liked Santino from the start with his wrestling ability, cause the man hasn't even shown us a finishing move. He won every match with a "cheap pin" type move. That in itself proves they either don't have high value on his wrestling skills, or they just don't like what he had before. But the one thing that he does have, is mic. skills.. so allow him to showcase them.

The condemned stuff was hillarious, I got the DVD and watched it, and for an action movie, it wasn't bad, personally I thought Vinnie Jones and Austin should have switched roles, but i digress.

Santino has the ability to be a Ric Flair type heel, with the catch that you don't really know how he's going to get to that cheap pin to win. He's kind of like Christian at the end of his WWE run, you loved to hate him. and he's portraying/is a foreigner, easy heel formula in the WWE.

i didn't like Santino until he turned heel. now i think he's great. and he does cut some awesome promos. like somebody else said he just has the perfect delivery and expressions.

I dont know are we going to crash and burn with Santino on the mic, i just dont see what everyone else sees, all i see is that he is a crap wrestler who shouldnt of been called up, but hey i want him to prove me wrong please prove me wrong before austin squashes you like a bug

I think Santino would be a much more engaging heel on ECW than Matt Stryker has been to this point.

I think he has potential to be a valuable member of the roster as long as he keeps improving his in-ring skills.

He's a natural on the stick - and not many talented in-ring performrs are (ie Shelton Benjamin).

Before Steve Austin shows up and effectively buries this guy or they try to put him in a tougher version of the "Eugene" punching bag rol, WWE should move Santino to ECW.

He isn't doing anything important on RAW other than silly backstage vignettes w. Maria and Ron Simmons, give the guy some run in the ring.

It can only help the talent level on ECW.

I mean, they only have 13 actual wrestlers on the whole roster!

This heel turn is what basically saved Santino's character. He was going nowhere as a face, I think they figured that out when UmaNga was getting face pops during their feud, People rush to quickly to say he's a "shit" wrestler. Thanks to creative he really hasn't showed what he's got yet. His mic skills are superb, Now all he needs to do is back it up in the ring, If he does that we might see more of him in the Intercontinental title picture. His past was just a fluke but in the end, I'm sure Stone Cold will make a short appearance, Stun him, Drink some beers, Leave.

But yeah, They should give him mic time consistently.

Santino bores me to death in the ring but the the guy does have an amazing amount of charisma on the mic. I actually look forward to his promos every week. His heel turn has given a completely new dimension to his character and has helped spark some interest in him.

i think a regular spot on any show as a comedy character as he is now or even as a mid-card heel manager wud be excellent for not only his own future but wwe in general

Santino is gold on the Mic his delivery of his Condemned promo was to perfection. When he turned heel it was a great thing, i dont know but he reminds me of William Regal with the priceless facial expressions. Except for the fact that Regal has more wrestling ability in one finger, than Santino has in his whole body.

It is hard to judge a man to see if he has any wrestling ability he has just been getting beat down for some time now. But he does make a good comedy heel character because people love to hate the man. So i believe with his charisma the man should get more Mic time because the delivery of his Promos are excellent and has a lot more charisma than some wrestlers in the WWE.

Oh good lord I have to agree and say besides Kennedy, Santino is one of my favorite personas on the mic today. Just his attitude and personality make nearly every word he says a gem. He just has 'it', which few people today can say they do.

If you think that he's just a whiny little bitch then he plays his role perfectly. His gimmick is to be that annoying heel that pisses people off. I do agree that his gimmick is crap, but at least he does it well.

To answer the question in the thread...yes, he should be given more mic time because sometimes I tune in to Raw just to hear him bitch about SCSA's movie. He's funny on the mic, and he gives that "did he just say that?" aspect in his promos.

i dont think he can wrestle at all. but i think that he is one of the superstars within the wwe with good mic skills. i think his expressions are entertaining. and his pronunciation is hilarious. i think santino is great. and hiring santino is one of the top ten decisions wwe has made in 2007. however, firing eugene was number one. haha.

Santino has gotten really good on the mic. I was defnitely intrigued when they threw Val Venis into the mix last week. Then, reality set in, and I remembered I was watching Raw. They'll probably just waste him, but I'd really like to see him properly utilized for once.

Haha. I think Santino is really good on the mic, he is hillarious! I love him. I don't like it when WWE make the Superstars have girlfriends but the whole Ron Simmons situation is funny. He is good and there is a lot of room for improvement to become really good and a top heel.

santino's wrestling in WWE is plain terrible, but ive also heard his wrestling was better in other promotions.

and his mic skillz are great, he should be the heel version of cena, except not nearly as buff.

I didn't give this guy much of a chance the first few times I saw him but he has grown alot on me and I'd love to see him get more mic time. I just hope that WWE doesn't screw this up. He's very entertaining and I consider myself a fan.

When Santino was a face, I hated him but as a heel he is quite entertaining. I'm guessing he is being worked into a feud with Stone Cold which is awesome. His mic skills are good and I hope to see more mic time outta him.

Hopefully he doesn't go back to being face again for a long while because he's not an entertaining face.
