Are there shows that you just hate and wish they wouldn’t air anymore? Well, this is the thread to discuss those shows.

I honestly find Jerry Springer’s show to be complete and utter trash. It hasn’t been any good in probably a decade or so. It was popular back in the 90’s but now it’s just stupid. It’s always the same stories over and over and over again just with different people. The same would go for Maury Povich’s show. It’s always the same thing and it’s not interesting anymore.

The Wright Stuff.

It's basically a panel talk show with this total ********er who hosts it. The 'celebrities' on the panel change every morning (although most of them 'Z' list celebrities), but it's always hosted by the same assclown.

They talk about things that totally shouldn't be discussed on early morning television, and if Wright doesn't agree with the views of the people who call into the show, he basically tells them to shut up and go away!

I can distinctly remember one episode i was forced to sit through where basically some old woman was rambling (like they usually do), but her main focus was on children. Now the relevance of children in that particular debate was arguable, but Wright decided he's had enough about her talking about kids and said:

'For God's sake stop banging on about the kids for one second!' and then pretty much hung up on her.

This guy's the presenter and he basically told a little old lady to shut up and go away, when she's paid (through her phone bill) to voice her opinion on the subject, and this guy treated her like he opinion wasn't worth shit.

I don't so much want this shit off my TV, because it's not like i'm made to suffer through it often, but it does anger me to think that fuckin' cunt is being paid a TV wage to be a cunt on live TV

You know what would be great? Taking all of the f*cking reality shows off t.v. and making writers come up with some inventive shows. You know there are good ideas popping up in someone's head right now but the executives over at the tv studios are taking the easy way out because it's freakin' cheaper to make a reality show than to actually take a risk and put something fresh on the market. I don't want to see Kate Gosselin (sp?) get a new haircut or whatever and I don't care about the new Survivor or American Idol. I just want to see a good storyline. That's all I want.

I have to agree with you here. There are too many reality shows on TV and most of them aren’t any good. From the ones I’ve attempted to watch, they always follow the same format and are very predictable. I honestly wouldn’t have a problem with reality TV if I saw a show that was different than every other reality show on TV and was actually interesting.

I prefer shows with complex character and stories that the writers actually put some thought into and keep my intrigued throughout their season.

Do I really give a shit what a ****e and her fat ****e sister are doing, really anything on E! Is garbage though. Whatever though if it is a guilty pleasure to some then so beat I just see NO redeeming qualities in it. I rather watch people with real talent and actual screen presence and Charisma do their thing, like on Cake Boss

Anything involving Kate Gosselin. She's famous for having a well stretched vagina due to having so many kids. That's it. She's not hot, she's not overly smart, she has no apparent talent, she's a diva and she's annoying as hell. She's been on what, three or four shows? She's famous because of her kids and is the epitome of a person that exploits her kids for her own profit. I'd love nothing more than to smack her in the face. Get her off my TV.

Ghost Hunters. I mean, it's pretty fake and, REALLY, an Academy? I especially hate it when there is more than two episodes back-to-back. Not much to be said about.

Reality shows with a cast of more than six who you might never see again -- more specifically the ones set by beaches or tropical climate. Ya know, the typical MTV/OC ones? There aren't many, but I ALWAYS happen to find one. Though I have no problem with the ones like Keeping/Kardashians cuz it's more personal about actual socialites who people give a fuck about -- plus to check out Kim's ass.

And, um, I concur about Jerry Springer. That show went hand-in-hand with the Attitude Era. Now it's just stupid. And I even heard Jerry say stonehead instead of pothead. I just added that last part for the hell of it.

I hear there's this "sport" where people flail around a "squared circle" pretending to be in combat with one another. Apparently, the only way to make it stop is for one of them to pin the other's shoulders down for about three seconds. Some promoters of this "sport" even have the nerve to weave "storylines" into the "combat" to make it more entertaining. WTF!! That crap needs to get off my television STAT!!

Honestly, if they keep showing it that means someone somewhere must be watching it. Who am I to end someone's entertainment because I find it annoying.

But. . . . if we're being hypothetical (which the we obviously are). . .Oprah needs to go as soon as possible. I know she's wrapping up, but she really needs to GTFO. I hate that she's become such an authority on so many topics that she's really nowhere near qualified to "educate" us on.

The View. . .mainly because I watch it whenever I'm at home at 10 in the morning and I hate myself for the entire day because of this. I'd be much less self deprecating if this television show did not exist.

The same goes for Glenn Beck. I know that my hippie liberalness should make me hate him with a fiery passion, but I find his idiocy humorous. . .and then I feel like a bad democrat for giving the guy ratings in the first place.

I'd also like to restate the VH1/MTV vote. The Real World thing was groundbreaking. . .I really think they've stopped trying since.

Well it hasn't aired yet but I would say the Macy's 4th of July special on NBC hosted by Justin Bieber. Talk about an annoying kid with no talent. He is hosting a 4th of July show and he is Canadian. What sense does that make? I have no problem with him being Canadian but being a talentless waste of space. There are lots of people like him that just suck the soul out of anything on television. The Kardashians, Kate Gosselin and those pretentious pricks Heidi and Spencer Pratt.

Who gives two shits about these two? Another thing extremely annoying and predictable as hell are not only the reality shows but shows like The Bachelor. How the hell are these fake ass shows still #1 in the ratings? The big news story now is the Bachelor broke up with his wife. Wow what a shock. Every single show the Bachelor or the Bachelorette breaks up with their spouse.

Other shows that people go crazy over that I don't understand are America's got Talent and American Idol. I wouldn't pay to see any of these people. American Idol is becoming a low rated show and is on its last legs now.

Finally I would have to say the New Jersey shows like Housewives and Jersey Shore. Not to mention the other horrible Real World/Road Rules MTV shows that haven't been interesting in 15 years. I guess you are considered a role model or a celebrity for being a drunken ****e on television nowadays.

Are you mad, senor? Seriously, Jerry Springer is a fucking amazing show. I watch it every night at 11 and laugh my ass off. It is so unreal that if Jerry Springer come out tomorrow and said that the 4,000 or so episodes that were filmed were an experiment into the viewer’s psyche and threshold for profanity, no one would be surprised. It is just that damn good.

However, one show that is not very good is Deal Or No Deal.

Seriously, this must be the worst and most boring show on TV. I get that people are gambling and trying to shape up their lives but I get so sick of it. I would love to see them put a bomb into one of the boxes and liven the show up a little. For me, the premise of the show is pretty good but Noel Edmunds as host is an appalling choice. He is by far and away the most boring man on TV and his lame attempts at humour do nothing for me but to make my hate for him all the more prevalent.

The best thing that the bosses of this show could do right now is get a new host. Hell, I might even start watching it when that detestable shrew of a man is off my television screen. After it lost it’s initial buzz of being a new show, Deal Or No Deal went from being interesting to being very mundane and monotonous in a matter of episodes and I just want to see it off my TV. I hate that everyone is talking about the most recent generic fat bitch to win £40,000 when I cannot stand the show.

Yes, I am very selfish but I cannot stand it anymore. I would gladly ill Noel Edmunds without fear of consequence in a world without order and law.
