Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
Really? Daniels goes from the main event to fighting a has-been that's younger than him? :wtf:

Aside from the complete randomness of this, Morley is good in the ring. He has a different style than Daniels has faced in a while, so it should be mildly entertaining, but I don't see why this is a PPV-quality match, other than nothing else being available.

Daniels better win.

seeing Val Venis pop on TNA last week was a big suprise, but the guy does have good work ethic in the ring. although, starting him off in a program against Daniels I feel is a bit too soon. let him work up to that level.

This is a oddball match at its best ,but Morleys a veteran and is very strict in the ring there should be no problems seeing Daniels not win

If not its just another crap "bring in a oldie to bury a youngy" style match.
Daniels is fuckin awesome ,and the two should have a great match

You people dont understand Daniels would come to WWE and be on the bottom while if Morley came he would be in the mid card at least. The new fans know Morley. To get over is not to win. Its a simple show case of talent. Motor City Machine guns lost against Generation Me on impact and its the first time i saw them tag up but I want to see them again even though they lost. If Daniels looses and puts on a good show then people will want to see him regardless. If he wins in a sqaush then the new fans he do not know who he is will not be impressed. In fact I would figure TNA is pushing the guy down the new fans throat and must be a guy who lacks the skills to put on a good match that why he sqaushed a semi known Morley..lol

Its not about winning or loosing for Daniels or Beer Money Inc. Its all about can you entertain me by winning or loosing. In fact even better if you can by loosing. Its eaier to entertain me by winning. Do know how many times I have watch Big Show or Mark henry win and just thought god get off my television screen..lol Then again I have seen HBK loose and just be amazed like when he fought the taker. Machine guns lost to Generation Me and yet I was amazed by them. If your good its doesnt matter if you win or loose.

I like TNA but get tired of every hyping up the young guys. They have to prove themselves to the new fans. I have seen Joe's last few matches and been less than impressed win or loose. He looks so sluggish in the ring which is fine for Nash he has been over for years and is well 50 but not for JOe the guy who is trying to make it.

Daniels better not win or loose he better entertain which is what he is paid to do.

At least Dniels is back at his natural level. Those two months headlining were never going to work, just like his feud with Sting didn't.

I've always liked Val Venis, but he's a waste of time and effort in any promotion now. TNA will probably redo that classic feud he had with Mick Foley in 1999.

I don't think this match is ppv worthy. This something else that could be on impact. Anyway, Daniels will probably pick up the win because I really don't see how it would make sense for Morley to win. He just got there a couple of weeks ago, and even if he does win, where would TNA go with him from there? While Daniels on the other hand, could use this win to at least get into the X-Division title picture.

I don't think this match is ppv worthy.

Storyline-wise, you're right. It isn't. It's had 10 minutes of build.

But, Daniels is one of the few constants for TNA on pay-per-view, and he rarely has a bad match. Add in that Morley isn't the shit he was at the end of his WWE run, and you have a decent match. It won't go more than 5 or 6 minutes, and it will happen early in the show, but at least we won't use it for a piss break.

Honestly, I was happy to see Morley pop up in TNA. I have always been a fan of the man and think he is still a very good talent. I agree, that this match is coming from left field with no real build up and no real purpose of being on a pay per view but, I won't mind watching it.

Both men have good work ethics and can put on good matches. Like NSL said, it will be at the beginning of the show and won't be very long, plus, since both men are entertaining I will actually watch the match. It should be interesting to see how it turns out and if Morley still has it or if he will be a bust.

Well, this is odd to say the least. Daniels made a heel turn by attacking Morley last week, even though he was already a heel. Morley is the face because he got attacked and talked about making pornos with TNA wrestlers, or something like that.

I guess Daniels should win, but it doesn't really matter. Neither of these guys have any direction at the moment. As long as the match is alright, things should work out. The winner doesn't really matter.

Before I forget, how awesome is Morley's entrance video. Gas pumps going into cars. I see what you did there TNA. Very clever.

I absolutely love Val. His laugh is amazing and I thought his promo was kind off good even though he was talking about shit.

This match should be good, both are good for there ages. Both are above the age of 35 and bald so I can see why they are having a match. Daniels should go over here and Sean is fairly new and doesn't deserve a win unlike Daniels who just had a great match with AJ.

what I dont get about this is how TNA went about the promo between the two. Everything Daniels said made me mark out for him as a FACE. same goes for the crowd. people liked hearing daniels say he wanted to rid tna of an outsider sleaze bag and then all of a sudden daniels is telling the crowd to shut up? what they did was take an opportunity for a good face turn and shit all over it. and can we please give daniels his first name back and his sweet fallen angel nickname back?

Well I'd like to see Morley pick up the victory here to sort of help establish himself in TNa. At the same time, I'd like to see Daniels win the match to gain some momentum back after losing to AJ.

I don't expect this match to be anything spectacular, but depending on how this match goes should effect Morley's TNA career. If he beats Daniels then that would possibly put him near the upper midcard. If he loses then he'll be lower midcard and just be involved with the Beautiful People from time to time.

I definitely think Daniels will win this one because he is an upper midcarder, whereas Morley seems lost in the shuffle of "new" people in TNA. This feud was thrown together at the last minute, and the match sounds kind of pointless. Daniels should win because he is a future champion yet I can't see Morley doing anything more than promos or random segments.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Daniels will defeat Morley.

I, along with most of you, think that morley shouldn't be in this match, he just came to TNA ffs, and had one promo and had a brawl with daniels, too quick, I guess Genesis isn't the PPV really, it was Jan. 4, there are too many matches put in on the spot. I think morley will come out with the win here, thus keeping the feud up, If daniels wins, It's completely piointless

Of course this isn't a PPV quality match, but they just want Morley to have his debut match on a PPV, like everyone else TNA just acquired.

Hopefully, this match won't go more than 5 minutes, but I'm predicting a 6-7 minute match with Daniels winning after a BME. Of course, Morley can pick up a roll up victory on Daniels if something is used to distract him. That's about the only way that he will win.

I'm a Val Venis mark and even I don't think this match is a good idea. I don't even think the match will be that bad. I mean, if people think Ricky Steamboat still has it, Val Venis definitely has.

It just stinks of desperation. If Val Venis had been in the company four or five years ago, he'd be a multi-time world champion by now. As it is, this match will look like Val Venis versus his skinnier evil twin to the, um, twelve new viewers TNA has earned.

Val Venis versus his skinnier evil twin

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Seriously this may very well be a good match but im not going to care because there's no build up, they interacted with each other on the last iMPACT essentially Venis talking about porn and Daniels beating him up, that was it, hopefully something of a story comes out of this and it becomes a somewhat interesting storyline

I don't really see the need to throw this onto a PPV yet. This feud was just established on impact this past week. This just seems really rushed and irrelevant for this card. But Daniels is pretty damn good, I just don't see why he's in a feud with Sean Morley. Also, Morley needs to back off the Val Venis persona, it's pretty lame.

What a fucking croc of shit. A fucking jobber comes in and beats the guy who a month ago was contending for the fucking World Heavyweight Title? What kind of pathetic bullshit is this? Sean Morley? Seriously? Sean "Val Venis" Morley just beat Christopher Daniels in a match – clean?! I can barely put into words how disgusted I am that Daniels had to job to that washed up loser.

What exactly does this do for Christopher Daniels – or am I supposed to believe that Val Venis has a longer career in TNA's future than The Fallen Angel?

There is absolutely nothing I like about this match, except for the actual in-ring stuff. And even then, take out the ending.

Daniels is being forced into a heel role, when the fans can obviously see that he's the face here. He gets a lot of crap for being bland, and he's going to get more here for trying to be a heel. Morley is the clear heel here, and Daniels is the face, and trying to switch it up instantly makes this feud a lot less interesting.

I couldnt stand this match, and it sucked so much daniels was trying to get over but everyone was still cheering him, morley did have ring rust, and his excuss well yeh, that much was pointless really. it will lead nowhere...

How did Morley have ring rust? He's been wrestling pretty regularly on the indies and he performed a slew of different slams and suplexes in this match and they were all crisp and done well. How did he have ring rust?

This match COULD have been good had it not been for the fucking cunt crew in the front row throwing up gang signs and thinking they're cool by turning their backs to the ring and chanting stupid shit. One of the few times a crowd has absolutely killed a match, and that's what happened here. I hope those fuckers get barred from the Impact Zone for life.

And to everyone bitching about Morley going over, stop. This was his first match in TNA, he HAD to go over, you can't have debuting talent lose in their first match, that's one of the most basic rules of booking 101 guys.

I don't understand this mentality. You know what? In every match someone has to win or lose. Everyone always talks about every match like it has an impact on the future of wrestling. You think this career is gonna kill Christopher Daniels? How much damage did this one match do to Daniels compared to spending a year dancing around as Curry Man?

Daniels may have main evented a PPV or two but don't get confused, he's not a main eventer. I love Christopher Daniels, but I don't see him as a huge draw in TNA. Not yet anyway, it wasn't long before Daniels was main eventing that he was covering for Suicide. I think everyone is exaggerating just how damaging this match was to Daniels, this is just the first match of an ongoing feud, why not wait until the feud is over before we talk about the impact of it?

You CAN have a debuting talent lose (like Kendrick did), but really, if all of the guys HOgan brings in job, that makes all matches with Hogan' guys pretty predictable.

And by the way, to anyone comparing Daniels and Venis and being pissed that Daniels had to job to the "old, washed up guy", Daniels is the SAME FUCKING AGE as Venis. They were even born in the same month. Venis is a big guy, he can work, and now he's legitimized with the TNA crowd because he went over a TNA regular. Daniels, meanwhile, more then held his own and is insanely popular with the TNA folk, so he loses almost nothing by losing the match.
