Well, in 2009 (Disregarding his 2005 time), a man by the name of Drew McIntyre debuted on Smackdown. He was apparently picked by Vince McMahon to be a future Champ and he became the self-proclaimed "Chosen One". His first feuds were with R-Truth and Finlay, until he eventually beat John Morrison for the Intercontinental Championship. He continued to dominate until eventually The Undertaker broke his undefeated streak. He was fired, until being reinstated the next week by Vince McMahon, as well as being given his title back. However, at Over The Limit, he lost the IC Title to Kofi Kingston.
On the 19th September, at the Night Of Champions PPV, he won, along with Dashing Cody Rhodes, the Tag Team Titles, in a Tag Team Turmoil Match. They were the Unified Tag Team Champs until beaten by The Nexus, with "Dashintyre" eventually breaking up as a Team. Recently on Smackdown, we've seen McIntyre defeat Kaval in 20 seconds, before his release, and in the past few weeks, he's been feuding with Trent Barretta, whilst trying to win over Kelly Kelly, claiming he has an Anger Problem.
