Funniest / Most Outrageous Moments In Professional Wrestling

Waylon Mercy

Pre-Show Stalwart
Thought it would be fun to start up a thread of stories related to the bizarre, outrageous, insane and hilarious stories that have swirled around over the years. There are so many to choose from, but I would have to go with the time that Psycho Sid was set to face the Undertaker in the middle of the ring. Apparently, though, Sid had been going through some stomach issues beforehand. The show as they say had to go on, though, so Sid did his best to shake it off. Unfortunately, though, in a spot leading up to the Tombstone, Sid simply couldn't stave off an attack of the Hershey squirts, and had no choice but to soil himself right there in the middle of the match. Taker, unaware at the time, had him hoisted up for the Tombstone. The Deadman caught a whiff of something deadly emanating from Sid's trunks. As you can imagine, the proximity of Sid's ass to Taker's face must have made it nearly impossible for Taker to remain in character. Yet, he did and finished off the match as quickly as he could. I may have embellished the story a bit, but apparently it is true. Wonder if anybody has more sordid details of this or any other gruesome story.

I'd rather not mess this story up, but here's the tale of the time Kerry Von Erich's prosthetic leg got removed during a match, courtesty of 123experts.com:

In the infamous 11/12/88 match at the Showboat Sports Pavilion in Las Vegas, Colonel DeBeers, while attempting to drag Kerry out of the ring, unwittingly pulled off his boot to reveal an empty sock. Kerry rolled out, put his leg under the ring apron, reattached the device and went on to win the bout. The AWA card at which the incident occurred was a house show, meaning that there were no TV cameras present.

I remember a hardcore title match in WCW between about 20 wrestlers in late 1999 during the Russo era. There was fighting and title wins all throughout the arena. I don't really remember all the details. But Jerry Sags was being written off TV so Brian Knobbs could have a singles career. So Jerry Sags took a run at someone out an exit door, may have been Norman Smiley, and was suplexed off the balcony of the arena's top floor. I've tried to youtube this for years but can't find it anywhere. The action was so fast pace and the situation was so silly that the commentators couldn't say anything else but 'and that's the end of Jerry Sags'.

For a few years, that was the last time Sags was ever seen.

When Tajiri spit the green mist in The Coach's face and he freaks out.

I couldn't find the exact video, but here's something close to it.

To save you the trouble, go to the 1:14 mark. Couldn't stop laughing :lmao:

For me it's easy, anything Goldust did with Booker T was pure comedy gold. When he was stalking Booker around supermarkets etc it just had me in stitches.

Steve Austin had lots.
-Bedpan to Vince's Head
-Attacking Booker T in the supermarket
-Repeating everything Vince before a survivor series match with Kane, Undertaker, Kurt Angle and I believe Jericho there as well
Three great ones that I can recall.

Besides the distaster that was the Gobbedly Gooker at the 1990 Survivor Series, the funniest thing I can remember has got to be the debut of The Shockmaster. I remember when I first saw it, I damn near pissed myself. How anybody could have kept a straight face live seeing that is beyond me.
