Full House prequel feature?

Uncle Jesse, err... I mean John Stamos, recently had this to say when asked about a possible Full House movie:

“I’m not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years” of the 1987-95 series. The former “ER” doc votes for James Franco to reprise Stamos’ role as Jesse Katsopolis. “I see Steve Carell as [Bob Saget’s character] Danny Tanner and Tracy Morgan as [Dave Coulier’s] Joey Gladstone because he’s funny,” he added.

I've seen a lot of people over the 'net trash this idea, but you know what? Fuck them, I want to see this go down. The combination of that cast and the writers who write most of Steve Carell's stuff... this could be hilarious, especially if they're all able to get down the corny mannerisms each character had and still accomplish making it a raunchy film.

This has some serious potential if you ask me. I remember I loved the two Brady Bunch movie satires, and this could be way, way better than that, if done right. Hopefully it gets done.

I love Full House! You know I watch the reruns all the time, right? Seriously, I would be there on opening night to see a Full House movie. Personally, I would like the see the original cast get together to make a movie, but that is definately wishful thinking. But hey, Dave Coulier could probably really use the cash, so why not?

I'm not gonna lie, I would do some hardcore marking out. I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode of the show haha. It'd probably be a real tearjerker with the death of Danny's wife whose name currently escapes me.

I'm totally with you. Steve Carrell would make a great Danny Tanner. I'd say the same about Franco. But Tracy Morgan as Joey? Sorry but its the same thing as the Honeymooners. It kinda makes it too much of a joke to have a black guy play a white character. Not racist, but its still stupid. I wonder who would play the girls?
