Fuck no. No fucking way.

Coming from the same site that claimed Hardy had a broken neck?, Cena was being traded to Smackdown, and such.....i doubt this is true..

Well it isn't true that they're gonna release him.

But if they don't renew his contract and he leaves, corrr. They needed someone to sort them out.

Kennedy is a fucking beast.

I doubt they'd release Kennedy. The reactions from the crowd he's been getting have been increasing so much lately. He's massively over. If they're worried about losing CARLITO, they sure as hell aren't stupid enough to lose Kennedy.

Can't honestly see the FUTURE....... OF FRIDAY NIGHTS...... MRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR KEN-NEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KENNEDY..... going anywhere, but who knows? If Carlito can't get a release when he's publicly slagging off the company i doubt they'll let Kennedy go. He's not far behind Jeff Hardy imo. He can do a good match with Main Event talent and is better on the mic than most of the talent on all 3 brands.

Well i fucking hope it's not true. Although the WWE might see him as injury prone? But no. i dont think WWE will be releasing Kennedy. He is the future of the WWE along with Jeff Hardy, he has great matches, great promo's and he's just all around fucking awesome. He's over like a motherfucker and he has the pontential to be as big as The rock or Austin if he is pushed hard enough. If we know this i'm sure the WWE does, which begs the question.. What the fuck have they been doing? What the fuck are they waiting for?? Push Him Like Crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

Kennedy Vs. Hardy could mainevent after mainevent for years to come.
That would be sweet.

If TNA was to pick up kennedy he'd no doubt be champion in matter of weeks, but anything other than WWE is a step down.
Hope he stays and is pushed HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:robvandam: The Whole Fucking Show!!!!!!!!!!!

If they're dumb enough to let him go, TNA better grab him. This guy has such a bright future its uncanny. If Vince won't pull the trigger on that, then its TNA's gain.

Lol, I really don't think WWE are going to let Kennedy go...then again, he is something of magnet for bad luck, and you don't want too many of those in your company :)

Seriously, that's the only rationalization I can think of for getting rid of Kennedy, which says something.

kennedy was in TNA before and hes not really a young guy he has to be in his mid 30s, so theres always a chance that he would want to leave to go to another company and try to make it big before he misses his shot.

plus he did have a crappy year with 2 injuries, a suspension, and a face turn (which i think should have never happened)

In all honesty, if they were to let him go, I don't see it lasting for long. Look at Jeff Hardy for example, got released and went to TNA, wasn't happy and came back. And he's more over now than he was before he left. I say let Kennedy go, let him heal up, and bring him back stronger than ever. THEN push the hell out of him.

There is no fucking way the WWE can let him go. No fucking way. Possibly the future of the WWE. If they let him go, Vince really is losing it.

Ok, wait a second. How is it that this guy in the "future" of WWE?

He's nothing special. He's strong on the mic, obviously, but aside from a clever entrance and a catch-phrase, I don't think he's anything special, or anything to be coveted. In fact, he's been a real headache for the last 2 years.

If he wasn't brought back, you'd all cry for a few weeks, and then you'd be over it. He's a world of unrealized potential, and in the immortal words of Robert DeNiro in "A Bronx Tale," nothing in the world is sadder than wasted talent.

Maybe some of it was luck, but the misdiagnosis on his injury resutling in his loss of the MITB suitcase, running his mouth about Performance Enhancing Drugs and then getting suspended for them, injuring John Cena...take your pick! He's been a bit of a liability.

I wouldn't worry though. If Mark Henry has stuck around this long, if Bob Holly has stuck around this long, and if Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy has gotten this many chances, then I don't see why Kennedy won't. But I doubt he'll be making the money he would have expected a year ago.

I'm sure this won't happen, if it does then Vince is a complete idiot. A lot of people still felt Kennedy would face Edge or Triple H for the WWE title at Wrestlemania and win, he's one of the brightest future stars in the WWE.

While I agree Kennedy has a lot of potential, I don't believe he's a sure fire main event wrestler. He certainly ranks among the top 5 in the WWE as far as mic skills go, but he needs to refine his wrestling before he's pushed to the next level. At least in my opinion, he moves awkwardly around the ring and his matches are poorly paced. They just don't seem to have a flow to me. Also, he needs to refine his move set to a degree. He hasn't really been given any finishers he can pull of seamlessly.

I also don't think he'd receive a huge push if he went to TNA. While he's established himself as an upper mid-carder in the WWE and is certainly over, I don't believe those credentials would put him over established stars like Sting, Kurt Angle, and Booker T. He definitely would have a shot at someday being TNA champ, but not within his first year or two there.

Kennedy is still a talent in development, albeit one with a tremendous amount of potential. If he can stay injury free long enough to have some consistent time in the ring, there is no doubt he can be a main event wrestler someday. However, if he keeps finding himself injured at such constant rate, he'll never reach these expectations. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see the WWE not sign him once his contract is up. He has been given at least two huge opportunities that's he managed to screw up with an injury and suspension (MITB and Vince's son angle). The WWE can only nurture someone for so long.

I expect a lot of dissenting opinions, and that's fine. But bear in mind, I've been watching wrestling for just about 20 years. I realize that wrestling evolves and that things aren't the same as they were say even 5 years ago. So, I'm not basing my opinion on comparisons with dated product. I'd just appreciate it if someone gives a dissenting opinion, they don't follow it up with "you're stupid" or "I've been watching wrestling for 2 years and you don't know what you're talking about." I've seen plenty of stars come and go, guys who everyone thought would be the next big thing and fizzled out, as well as guys who clawed their way up to the top.

The fact is that WWE sees the star potential in Kennedy, which is why, just like with Carlito, they will hold onto him for as long as they can. Now we just have to wait and find out if they'll A) use that talent to build a huge star for themselves, or B) destroy him the way they destroyed Carlito so that when he does leave the company, he'll be vitually useless as a "Name" wrestler.

This just can't happen. Anyone, and I mean anyone else could be released, just as long as this doesn't happen. This would be the death of WWE, at least for me.

I've never really understood the Kennedy love. I think a lot of it is kind of out of date, to be honest. The guy was pretty entertaining a couple years ago but what has he done lately, aside from getting stale? The Kennedy.....KENNEDY bit is old and freaking stupid. He's injury prone as shit and even a lot of his supporters like Austin have changed thier minds on him. Its time you do too. There is nothing special about Mr. Kennedy beyond some tallent that MAY be locked away in there. Untapped potential isn't worth squat if the worker isnt willing or is unable to tap it. Look at Shelton Benjamin, by all logic he should be at LEAST wrestling on Pay Per View. He's not because despite how good he is, management doesnt feel like he's working to his full potential (or at least that is my understanding). In my opinion Kennedy is a tallented guy whos got zero versitility, and I think his face turn shows that. Or maybe he just needs more ring time that he can't get because he's injured for half the year. I don't know. All I know is that I'd rather watch The Brian Kendrick then Ken Kennedy these days. I wouldn't notice if he was gone simply because he's rarely on my TV.
