This is a beefed up version of my Steinbrenner vs McMahon thread for the front page:

Still don't think the comparison can be made. Both tried at separate ventures, and while one succeeded in a fake sport, the other in a real sport

That's exactly why I want you to try to compare them. If they were both pro wrestling, it'd be too easy.

Well, the point is, the two are quantified by different measures of success. There's no real way to quantify these two together. If pressed, I'd go with Vince, but only because his sole purpose is to make money, and make his promtion a national name. Steinbrenner had to make money, as well as have a quantifiable measure for success, which in New York, is extremely high strung.
