Former Knockout Returning To TNA

I just saw this in the main WZ page:

TNA's Jeremy Borash revealed during a live Twitter webcast today that former Knockout Roxxi will be returning to the company to participate in the Knockout Tag Team Title Tournament. Roxxi will partner with Madison Rayne.

So what do you guys think about Roxxi returning? Is it a good thing for the knockouts division or is it a bad thing? Are you glad that Roxxi is returning or do you not care at all?

Personally, I think this is a good thing for the knockouts division. With her coming in, it adds more depth to the knockouts division. They are planning on adding the tag titles for the knockouts, so if she is tagging with Rayne then they have another tag team, who knows they might actually make a good tag team.

I feel that when she was released, it was very unfair. But now that she is back I am glad because I found her to be entertaining and was pretty good overall. Some people might not have liked her gimmick, I wasn’t too wild about it either, but she is a solid wrestler that can put on good matches and it just makes the knockouts division even better with her returning. I hope that they do something good with her because I am happy to see that she will be returning and can't wait to see what they do with her.

I think it was bull in the first place that she got released because of an altercation with Rhaka Khan, they are probably bringing her back due to the fact that Khan and Kurt have had a falling out.

I for one love Roxxi and believe that she is one of TNA's most underated talents, she is also a company girl due to the fact that she got her head shaved for TNA, the fans love her so why not bring her back.

I just hope that this is not just a one shot, she at the time was on par with gail kim in regards to popularity after her head was shaved and i completly dont understand why TNA didnt push her to the Knockouts title.

Heres hoping Roxxi has a better and longer lasting run and isn't being used as fodder for the beutiful people.

hahah I had heard rumors that she was coming back(posted them in the TNA LD)and I am glad they are true.

Roxxi was let go because of her dispute with Rhaka. Now that Khan will no longer be able to be in TNA(due to the Angle incident)this seems like the logical thing to do. Although I think TNA had every right to fire her(since she couldn't get along with a co-worker and made a scene).

Except for the Khan incident Roxxi got nothing but praise by management and wrestlers alike. She seemed friendly and there was never any drama involving her before this incident. And she was commited to TNA, even shaving her head for them, in order to entertain the fans. So like I said I'm happy and thrilled she's returning. Although I didn;t really care for her "hardcore" gimmick and preffered her as The Voodoo Queen Roxxi Leaveaux.

So now she is going to be teaming with Rayne against TBP. I actually think her team might win, or it's going to be a pretty lame "re-debut". I'm not sure I like the idea of these two teaming, but if it means we get more Roxxi then I'm game. In the thick of things though, I don't see her winning the belts, and I see her back where she was before, a well known/liked jobber.

I know TNA attempts to make its Knockouts division original but i have to agree here, the women can't take that sort of punishment and the stuff Roxxi was doing could have shortened her career, they need to protect their knockouts because TNA should see the division has an investment due to the fact that it is one of the highest rated segments on Impact.

So now she is going to be teaming with Rayne against TBP. I actually think her team might win, or it's going to be a pretty lame "re-debut". She shouldn't be in that role though, do you hear the reaction she gets?, she was almost on par with gail kim on being on of the biggest faces in the division, she is much better then the MEM's so called chosen one Tracey Brookes and we all know that she will eventually get the title.

IMO i want them to at least utilise Roxxi properly, and they are not having a good start with Borash blirting everything out on his twitter account like some kind of blabbering school girl attempting to get people interested in him, one of the main reasons people arent interested in the product as much anymore is because of spoilers, her redebute would have ben shocking to say the least now im going to be expecting it.

Forgive me(I still don't know how to do thoes fancy Multi-Quotes thing...and I'm a mod :S ). Anyway, I didn't say it was all Roxxi's fault, but I see why she was let go. First of all, you talk like you were there. Was there ever official confirmation on what exactly happened or just he said/she said and rumors?

Second, (assuming the rumors were true) then Roxxi flipped out at Rhaka backstage, and made a big scene. Again, who know's but that isn't the most professional thing for someone to do. She could have just voiced her concerns to Rhaka personally or went to managment instead of (alledgedly) doing it publicly backstage where all could see.

Not saying Rhaka shouldn't have gotten in trouble(and she did get suspended)but if TNA management had to fire one, it would make since they kept jobber #1 who was sleeping with the face of TNA over Jobber #2, who they left to flounder and job anyways.

And yes, Roxxi was getting big pops, but sometimes companies just don't follow through with these things. ODB use to outpop Gail at times, yet she's still a comedy character. RTruth from the WWE countinues to get a good reaction, and still jobs.

And the last few months, were reactions were pretty minimal. Probably because she was a jobber, but still. TNA has alot of talented girls, so some won't get huge pushes...sad but true(and I'm a huge Roxxi fan).

But in the end I'm pumped to see her back. Hopefully she is used a little better, but who knows. And I agree, Borash shouldn't have announce it. He usually keeps things a mystery and has people guessing. Maybe he's just throwing people off? Naw, he isn't that creative.

I've always liked Roxxi because I have always felt that among the original Knockouts that she was the most technically sound of the Knockouts. Roxxi to me is equivalent to Molly Holly of WWE fame, not beautiful, but very skilled in her ringwork and moveset. I really hope that this is not a 'one match deal' and that the rayne/roxxi vs TBP will be a long and entertaining match because eventually, I feel that TBP will be the first women's tag team champions.

However, I feel that rayne/roxxi vs TBP after the tag belts are decided at the pay-per view can be an interesting and lengthy program that can work with rayne/roxxi eventually winning and then lose again to TBP.

not to be rude but if you don't like spoilers then Don't Read Them. plain and simple. this announcement of Roxxi returning was the first "spoiler" i've read about tna for almost 6 months now. was just to curious as to who it was that was returning and didn't want to wait....but onto the topic

i'm really glad that she is returning. I used to love watching her matches in Shimmer. I think she's an awsome wrestler and I really hope that the use her a lot better than the did during her last run. hopefully she will return with her natural hair and a better character.
as for what TNA will do with her that anyones guess. just hope they actually let her be herself.

you guys don't even know the story,Roxxi has been interviewed several times since her release from TNA and she has said everytime that nothing happened between her and Rhaka,yes,they had a dissagreement backstage but it was solved all there and then,they hugged and made up,Roxxi and Rhaka are good friends,this all came from Roxxi's mouth

TNA released Roxxi because they told her that they had nothing left for charatcer and they wanted to bring in new girls,now thats a stupid reason because Roxxi was the only one that got released,if TNA was serious about bringing in new talent,then more knockouts then just Roxxi would have released but she was the only one and she did so much for company,she freakin shaved her head for company

We still don't know if Roxxi is back for good or just for the tournment but i hope shes back for good,Roxxi is amazing and she's an great worker and also,she's so cute,her smile would put me on my knees

It's funny you mention that, because I always thought that after she had her head shaved WWE should have upped Molly's aggression and started calling her "Hardcore Molly" (she was supposed to be Hardcore Holly's cousin remember) she could've started really using that chokehold and be like a female Taz...I always felt like maybe TNA was trying that with Roxxi, and having her blade on Impact was pretty intense...although a bit in bad taste...The problem I had with Roxxi's hardcore character though is that she just didn't come across as a badass...she was a sound performer, but she was always smiling and too much of a face to make it work...I kinda wondered if another reason for her release might be because they got Daffney (still happy as hell bout that I might add)...Daffney really does the hardcore thing better than Roxxi and if Roxxi is coming back, maybe she should be presented as...I dunno maybe a rebellious schoolgirl or something, or even go back to the voodoo concept.

Roxxi back to TNA? Well, if this is for the one time endeavour then this will be great for the company & the division to have that shock factor affect for getting a bump in audience viewers. If she does come back into the company signed on a contract, it will be great for the establishment of the new Tag Titles & expanding the division to include wrestlers of all backgrounds where Roxxi satisfies the hardcore aspects. Could you imagine the matches that Daffney & Roxxi could have together in TNA involving weapons?

However, I will say that other than the hardcore & nameworth aspects of Roxxi, her return to the TNA ring may not be a good idea. They got rid of her for a reason & should stick by their guns. I personally didn't see much in the wrestling aspect of her & she did not entertain me as a fan watching her matches. For me, I will say TNA should keep this as a special appearance as they have better options to invest in bringing up female talent to the main roster.

Do I dare to say The TNA KO Division could be as good as SHIMMER if they want it to be? Im just saying with the boat load of top notch female wrestlers TNA has, it's possible. To bad they dropped the ball with Gail Kim though. Yay on Roxxi coming back.

Roxxi back to TNA. Great. I'm thrilled. I always thought she was a great wrestler, and was disappointed that she got fired because of an altercation with another wrestler. And I wouldn't mind if it was someone better than her like Kong, but it was with Rhaka Khan, probably the worst wrestler in the division, who only had a job because she was in a relationship with Kurt Angle.

Roxxi was the original hardcore knockout, the knockout who did anything for the company. She got her head shaved. She even bled, which is incredibly rare for a female, but don't quote me on that, my memory of female matches is sketchy. And now daffney is here, who has also been known to like hardcore matches, such as with Taylor Wilde. Feud, anyone. Maybe even tag team

All in alll, a great signing to improve the Knockout division even further. It will beef up both the singles and tag team scene, but the thing I like best. It might make TNA start to trim the fat off the division.

sadly doesnt matter its only a matter of time until they get tracy or some of the other MEM Valets to win all the knockout titles just to show their superiority so it really doesnt matter also why r they gonna add another womens title its not like they're going to put alot of tv time after the titles are won plus there isnt that many women the only company i could see it with would be wwe becuz they hava and can make the tv time with the exception of raw but even they know its a bad idea (im not comparing the divas to the knockouts) basically the same amout of tv time wasted on celebs for raw is almost the same time wasted on skit n tna's impact
