For WM30 there is a match WWE Must consider .....

Championship Contender
That match is none other .......than TLC for the tag team championship. The match itself has helped to make stars of the Hardys, Dudleys, Edge and Christian and could do wonders for the current crop of tag teams WWE has right now. Now I understand the WWE is PG right now but the match itself has saved many WM from being a total snore fest and while the card could be okay this year at WM 30, Ok isn't good enough for the 30th anniversary of the greatest sports spectacle of them all.

Now we have a number of tag teams to choose from:

The New Age Outlaws
The Real Americans
R Truth and Xavier Woods
Los Matadores
The Ascension
Goldust and Cody Rhodes
and the winner of the match ....
The Usos

Now my pic would be to bring in 3-6 and keep it rather small and not too ridiculous and leave off the Ascension but they could go with all of these teams and see what they do together. If I had a gun to my head, I would go with The New Age Outlaws, Godlust and Cody Rhodes, The Real Americans and the Usos. But I wouldn't mind leaving off Ascension and working with the main roster tag teams.

What do you think ? A good idea for WM 30 ?

It's not a bad idea but it seems TLC matches are a young person's game. The ones we really remember had guys like the Hardy Boys, Edge & Christian who were youthful, thin and fast moving.

I wouldn't advise such a dangerous match for people like the Old Age Outlaws, Goldust or R-Truth. The Uso's aren't old. but they're built close to the ground (a nicer way of saying "heavy and getting heavier") and Cody, after all, just showed us what can happen when trying risky, high altitude maneuvers.

When I think of TLC, I keep getting the image of Edge tackling Jeff Hardy in mid-air......it's hard to forget since WWE keeps showing it to us in highlight, even after all these years.

Still, for all of that, I'd like to see the current tag teams try TLC, as long as the writers can choreograph it to keep the danger to a minimum, although there will always be the element of risk with this type of match.

Beyond Sally's point there are a couple of other issues. For one, it takes away from the fact that we already have a PPV dedicated to the concept and with the level of talent and scheduled "main event" matches going to be set for mania, even at four hours plus pre-show a match like this would not get the proper amount of time.

Don't get me wrong, this would likely be a fun match but it's better saved for a lesser PPV when it can get proper time and it won't overshadow or get decimated in time by the top matches.

I like the idea of this match, but I don't think they should just pack the match with tag teams just for the sake of having them on the show. One reason why the original TLC matches worked was because they not only had the top teams involved, but limiting it to those three teams kept it from becoming a clusterfuck. Having 14 or 16 guys running around all over the place would be too damned chaotic, it's almost enough for a fully blown battle royal. You'd have guys going at it in the ring, guys fighting all the way up the ramp, fighting at ringside, fighting on top of the ladders and all this would be going on at the same time.

I doubt the New Age Outlaws will still be around post WrestleMania, so I can see WWE wanting to get one more really big match out of them. They're not young men, but they're in good health and the booking can be kept in which they avoid most of the big spots. As a result, I'd limit the match to no more than 4 teams consisting of the New Age Outlaws, The Usos, Harper & Rowan and Goldust & Cody Rhodes. They're easily the top teams in WWE right now and, as a result, it gives more of a feeling that any of these four teams can walk out with the titles. Los Matadores have been a non-issue for months, so just putting them in the match serves no real purpose. I'd say that The Real Americans will be finished by WrestleMania XXX, Woods & Truth are essentially the new Tons of Funk and would serve no real purpose other than being bodies to take up space along with Los Matadores.

I they used the TLC match at Mania I'd actually prefer it be for the proposed US title triple threat match between The Shield. They made their PPV match debut in a TLC match so it would be a fitting way to close the chapter, and I can just see Reigns spearing the other two through tables and Rollins doing crazy shit off the ladder.

I like the idea of a TLC tag team title match at Wrestlemania but one thing that made the TLC match special with E & C, The Dudleys and Hardyz - they all had history, swapping title reigns between each other.

Unfortunately with the way the WWE has booked the tag division, it's been a gift and a curse. I like the idea of long title reigns but at the same time it hurts the credibility of contenders like the Usos or makes teams pointless to be together like PTP.

I don't think NAO vs. Rhodes Bros vs. The Usos would be work. You would need The Shield instead of the Usos but as you can see The Shield looks like they're about to split.

I love the idea, but the build if it were to happen hasn't got enough time at all to get me to want to watch it. It seems WWE is determined to focus on the main eventer's and Roman Reigns...I think :)

I think this is a very good idea on the whole. I also agree you should limit how many teams are in the match, but you need enough teams so that NAO aren't forced to carry the match, which they aren't capable of doing in tlc. I would take Cody and Goldust, because Cody needs to hit a moonsault off of a ladder, the Usos since they can really fly, NAO would be in there because they still have the belts, and I would put Dolph Ziggler and Miz in, because they seem to be teasing a tag team. I skipped the Real Americans, because I would really want to see Cesaro vs. Swagger vs. Big E for the IC Belt.

They do not need Gimmick Matches people want to see the wrestlers in great story lines with proper match build up. The WWE needs to make sure Elimination chamber ends with results that people will want to be excited for wrestlemania. Right with Batista in the main event the WWE is heading for a disappointing wrestlemaina 30. They have time to make that main event better and the whole card much more interesting for the whole crowd not just the WWE Brass and little children who buy most of the merchandise

I do like the idea of the shield in it but as said b4, they are likely to be split up soon. I'd also like to see the Wyatts there. Perhaps the Usos vs NAO would work but I think that a tlc match with all the teams might garner exposure for the team division and help the wm card greatly. Not to mention for the most part the tag team title changes haven't even made the main show it's always on the pre show which is really a let down. SO let's do this match this way.

Shield vs Usos vs GOldust & Cody Rhodes vs. The Wyatts vs. NAO

NAO vs. Shield vs Usos vs Goldust & Cody Rhodes

or

NAO vs Usos vs Goldust &Cody vs the Wyatts
