For the record...

It's Damn Real!

The undisputed, undefeated TNA &
I'd welcome help to the TNA section same as I would welcome help to the moderating team, period. The idea of having a partner has nothing to do with feeling as though I'm incapable of handling the job regardless of any recent influx of users posting there, because as boastful as it may sound to some of you throwing my name around lately, I'm quite capable of my doing my job and have yet to see any of my superiors question my ethic.

I've been on a wee bit less of late because as some of you know, I'm getting married this year and have a fiancée in her final year of her graduate program, so I've actually taken a larger role than most men do in booking their own wedding (yup, just made that a wrestling reference), and obviously with the Rangers season in play wrestling takes a backseat to hockey, but I still make every effort to be on at key times (post PPV, post iMPACT!, etc).

What I do find comical about all this though, is that anyone not on the moderating team would think they are actually in a position to judge my work in a section of the forum they only see from in front of the curtain. There is much more to moderating than throwing out infractions for every single spam post you come across, in case you were curious.

I'm glad you're all pitching for the moderating gig up for grabs in this election, but just a few words of advice... the best way to gain votes is probably to win hearts not throw dirt. Just my $0.02. I'll go back to making questionable calls of late that you couldn't possibly know about and leave the bar room stuff to the regulars!

Crossing the line!

Speaking on my own behalf, let me be crystal clear. I have indicated my desire to win this election and become our newest moderator. My choice, as I've spelled out, would be to do non-spam wrestling, specifically to co-moderate TNA with you. But make no mistake about it, this has nothing to do with me thinking you are incapable of handling the job alone, or is in no way a negative judgment of the job you are doing. Anyone can use a little help, and there's no shame in that. With the increase in traffic in the TNA section, which will continue if they continue on their current path, combined with your impending marriage and life in general getting in the way, I thought the time was great to bring a second guy into the picture, someone who could help you continue to maintain the section in excellent shape as you've done alone.

If I am successful, I'm sure I will need a lot of help and guidance, especially at the beginning. But once I'm brought up to speed, I feel confident that I would be able to be an asset to you and the section.

Plus, once reality sets in for the Rangers and they come back to earth, and you spiral into a deep depression again this season, you are going to need help in holding the section together. And I'm the man for the job :)

Who did you book to get thrown in the cake? Jay Lethal might be available.

I didn't know Kamala was comin'!

My bad, a bad choice of words on my part. No deep depression for you in the past as far as I know. Just lots of reasons to spiral into one, thanks to the Rangers. 1994 was quite a while ago.

Says the guy who's team prior to last season hadn't won a cup in 39 years.

You ought to change your name to loveoutdatedrhetoricforever.

:lmao: Talk to me in the spring, after they have successfully defended their Stanley Cup.

And maybe you should consider changing your username to represent the odds of the New York Rangers doing anything to stand in their way.

It's Damn Unlikely!
