[The Brain]

Anyone else familiar with this show? I happened to catch an episode on ion television after Main Event a couple months ago and thought it was really good. I recently finished watching the series on Netflix. It's about a swat team that goes on various assignments, mostly involving hostage situations. Rather than going in guns a blazing like a lot of action shows the unit tries to get in the heads of their suspects and relate to them. They are experts in negotiation and only use their weapons when absolutley necessary. Sometimes the team is forced to kill and other times not so you never know how each episode will end. I'm not very good at reviewing tv shows and movies but I recommend this one. It was on from 2008-2012 and had about 75 episodes. You can check it out on Netflix and it's on ion television on Tuesdays from 10 pm - 2 am central time. I never even heard of this show until I happened to catch it after Main Event one week so I'm curious if anyone else knows about it and if so what you thought.

If it weren't for Amy Jo Johnson, I wouldn't have cared to watch it. Which would've been a huge mistake on my part. Amy is still one of the hottest actresses in my opinion, this going back to her days as the original pink ranger, but is also one that should've had a far better success than what she got. Her aside, the series is really good. I like cop shows, so it really was worth watching in the end.
