In a few months (Sept. 27th I beleive) Machine Head will finally be releasing their long awaited follow up to "The Blackening", and for the first time since Stone Sour released "Audio Secrecy" I will have a reason to go to Best Buy and buy an actual CD again, it's been awhile since something music related as excited me this much!!

Wow I can't really tell you how much I loved The Blackening. I've never had a cd that I totaly liked the whole thing. Rob Flynn from his first days has came leaps and bounds. I wasn't around for Vio-Lence. But I have lisitend to Eternal Nightmare alot. Robs guitar playing since then has improved so much, and his vocals in Machine head are top notch. He has great vocal control and great growling.

Locust is just an absolute monster. I personally can't wait for this cd, all the cd's leading up to TB were fucking monsters. But TB put it over the top. If this whole album is like this song, or the playing is up to the quality of Locust. I see no problem with this sweaping the boards for Metal album of the year.

4 years was a long wait, but It was totaly worth it.

Suitably Brutal, I am looking forward to this album now. I didn't know they had one coming out but Now I do that is another CD to buy.

The last two albums these guys have released (Ashes of Empires & Blackening) have just been flat out amazing, and this is suppose to have that same kind of heavy feel to it, and if this first track is any indication then they have succeeded in making another masterpiece of metal, I look forward to picking this up, and then hopefully these guys go tour through here so I can here them preform these new songs live, Machine Head is easily one of my favorite live bands ever, & one that I will go see every chance I get. Sept. 27th can't come fast enough!!
